UNIUYO ALUMNI ASSOCIATION RESTORES MAIN GATE SIGNAGE IN SYMBOLIC CLEAN-UP EXERCISE

In a symbolic move to reaffirm its commitment to the dignity and image of the University of Uyo, the University of Uyo Alumni Association has once again stepped in to support its alma mater—this time by restoring the visibility of the institution’s signage at the main gate of the Town Campus.

The clean-up exercise, commissioned by the Association through a professional janitorial company, was part of ongoing efforts to enhance the university’s physical appearance and public perception.

Speaking to a correspondent on behalf of the Executive Council, the President of the Alumni Association, Mr. Ekerete Adiaiduo, said the gesture was a demonstration of the Association’s resolve to consistently add value—not only to the University of Uyo and its alumni, but to society at large.

“This may seem like a simple intervention, but it carries deep symbolism. We are poised to uplift the image of our great institution wherever possible,” Mr. Adiaiduo remarked.

He reaffirmed that under his leadership, the Alumni Association will continue to initiate and support projects that reflect the university’s core values of excellence, integrity, and community service.
