Few days ago my God Father Celebrated his birthday so I taught of gifting him something precious, I had to figure it out and I came up with this beautiful idea of Cooking and celebrating his birthday with some Orphans children!! IDP camp came into my mind so we thought of celebrating it over there with the children!!

Mr Yomi Sijuade has been such a wonderful Father to me..He set up the first platform that paved way for me back 2020. He own a popular Food Group COOK AND CHEF CORNER, this was the food group that made me became popular. It was here that my nick name PAPIWATER came forth! So many people met me in this group and followed me and supported me over the years up till date.

He chose me and encouraged me and told me countless times that I’m a destine child that someday I will become very famous that he sees so much potential in me and he’s supported me over the years. This is someone I’ve not met before but our bonding is so special in a way that I felt the presence of a Father in my Life.

This isn’t enough to appreciate him for all the love he showed me but I wan this medium to celebrate his birthday. I wish him Happy birthday long life and prosperity. I wish him all the good things that this world have instock for you! May Heaven continue to celebrate you and grant all your heart desires Dad. God bless you! And Happy Belated Birthday to him again!!

THE TALE OF IBAKA

Ibaka is a coastal town located in Oron Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. It lies along the Bight of Bonny, a part of the Atlantic Ocean, giving it strategic economic and cultural significance.

It is part of the greater Oron Nation, a confederation of maritime communities known for their seafaring history, fishing expertise, and distinct cultural identity.

Ibaka, as a town, has its roots in ancient fishing settlements. These settlements evolved over time, not just due to environmental factors, but because of the town’s strategic importance for maritime trade and resource abundance.

It is especially renowned for its seafood, and fishing remains a dominant occupation. The waters around the Bight of Bonny are rich in:
Crayfish, Prawns, Periwinkles, Catfish, Croakers, Shrimp, and women and youths play significant roles in fish processing, smoking, and trading, forming a vibrant local economy built on traditional knowledge and skills.

Ibaka is part of the resource-rich Niger Delta. It contributes to Akwa Ibom's standing as the largest producer of crude oil in Nigeria. Offshore oil fields located near Ibaka are exploited by major oil companies, and the region is critical to Nigeria’s petroleum economy.

Today, Ibaka is a town on the brink of transformation. While it holds on to its deep cultural roots, there is a rising demand for:
