A CERTAINLY AWAITED TIME 🥀
“It was ten past 10am on the clock. A certain awaited time, for a heart about to be united by love. The cheers of joy and happiness all sprung out of my being, with the words “ At last” taking it's centre stage.
A certainly awaited time, a moment so long awaited to behold, crashed down like Humpty on the great wall. The war poked it's ugly head. My beloved, taken by it's hideous face, the walls came crashing down, my heart grew heavier to carry.
I sat there in wonder if what could have been, and mourn a loss, of the last love I'd seen. A certainly awaited time, but great loss I see. My feet turn cold, my limps all stoned, a grievous loss, amusement no more.
A certainly awaited time, yet my eyes glow dimmer. I sit beside his image, reimagining glitters and glimmer. Far gone, farewell my beloved, I'd sit here with you, till my weight grows thinner.
A certainly awaited time, now a hollow echo's chime. The vows unspoken, a love left undefined, a ghost of warmth, a touch I'll never find. The laughter stilled, the future turned to gray, yet, memories linger, refusing to decay.
Though shadows lengthen, and tears may freely fall, I'll hold your essence, beyond this earthly wall. A certainly awaited time, transformed to endless night, but in my heart, your love remains, a flickering, eternal light."
