Day 1 Challenge
My Journey to the Methodist Youth Fellowship
My journey didn’t begin with a grand calling; it started with being born into a Methodist family. As a young boy, my cousins and I were nurtured to grow closer to God every blessed day. I still remember those early morning prayers at 5 AM when I would be in church, sometimes even leading the prayers myself.
I joined the junior choir, singing every Sunday, and I never missed a practice. That was another school where I learned and grew. As I grew older, I became involved in the Youth Fellowship, where I was committed and dedicated to serving God wherever I found myself.
Thanks to my commitment and dedication, I was called into leadership from Local church, circuit and Diocese, and I’m grateful to say that my experiences in the Methodist Youth Fellowship have shaped my life and drawn me even closer to God. From being a boy at the back to a brother up front, that’s the essence of my Methodist Youth Fellowship journey.
Birth gave me a place, commitment gave me roots, dedication gave me purpose, and leadership provided me with people to serve.
I am an Ambassador for Christ.
