LETS DEBATE: PART 1

Artificial Intelligence, commonly known as AI, is rapidly transforming our world. From healthcare and education to business and entertainment, AI has become an integral part of our daily lives. However, many people fear that AI may one day become too powerful. While these concerns are understandable, I argue that we should be more concerned about humans than AI itself.

JAMB Opens Portal for 2026 UTME Mop-Up Examination Slips Ahead of June 13 Exam

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially activated its portal for eligible candidates to print their notification slips for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Mop-Up exercise scheduled for June 13, 2026.

Candidates are encouraged to visit the official JAMB portal promptly to access and print their examination slips, which contain vital information including their examination date, time, and venue.

According to JAMB's Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the mop-up examination is specifically designed for candidates who were unable to participate in the main UTME due to technical challenges or those who could not complete the biometric verification process during the earlier examination period.

The Board advised all affected candidates to carefully review the details on their slips, locate their examination centres ahead of time, and strictly adhere to all examination guidelines.

JAMB further stressed that the mop-up exercise represents the final opportunity for eligible candidates to sit for the 2026 UTME, urging them to make adequate preparations and arrive at their centres early on examination day.
