MCF FYB PERSONALITY OF THE DAY

Meet JOY UDOKA
Final year student of Linguistic and Nigerian Language.
A unique and iconic daughter of this family.

One time Treasurer (2023/2024) and Vice President (2024/2025), MCF UNIUYO

An embodiment of grace, leadership, and a heart that calls MCF "a family" – simple and true. Joy loves singing, dancing, and watching movies. Her favourite program is the National Convention, and her most cherished moment? During Thursday fellowship. She describes MCF as amazing.

Her quote: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
She stands on Psalm 121, and her advice to younger MCFites: "Stay in the place of prayer and worship."

Coming back for Masters? "On God."

Today we celebrate her
And we bless God for His hand upon her life.

She will graduate in peace, and the job market will adjust in her favour.

GIVING BACK IN ACTION

Last week Sunday, the founder of Stone of Help Foundation, Dr. Ebenezer Oke, showed love in a practical way of donating 40 exercise books to Methodist Campus Fellowship University of Uyo Town Campus Chapter.

Education is the foundation of every great future and this gesture will go a long way in easing the burden for students while encouraging them to stay focused on their studies.

Thank you Sir, for being a stone of help indeed. Your kindness remind us that true leadership is service. May God replenish every seed down and bless the works of your hands.

BEFORE FELLOWSHIP:
E don wake up early to go church. Check generator, check fuel, test mic, tune instruments, balance k***s. Make sure say keyboard and guitar no dey cry like person wey lost something.

DURING FELLOWSHIP:
E go sit for one corner, one eye on the preacher, one eye on the mixer. Left hand dey adjust volume, right hand dey pray make light no go off. Sweat dey run like river because one wrong move, the whole fellowship go scatter.

But the moment:
Light go off – "TECHNICAL!"
Mic dey whistle – "TECHNICAL!"
Keyboard no dey play key G – "TECHNICAL, WETIN DEY HAPPEN?!"

Nobody see the hours of setup. Nobody thank am when sound sweet. But the second ANYTHING go wrong? All eyes on the innocent dude.

So this post na for our technical director. We see you. We appreciate you. Even when we no talk am.
