BLACK HISTORY WEEK THROWBACK
Brother William Seymour was the son of an African Slave who worked in the plantations. He was partially blind and could only see with one eye. In church, he was ostracised, derided and looked down upon by the white brethren because he was a slave and a black man. He and other black brethren could not share Fellowship with the white brethren in the same chapel because of racism. They stood by the windows of the church building to participate in Fellowship.
However, when it was time for God to move again upon the earth in releasing the pentecostal rain to awaken the pentecostal gifts and power in the church, God chosed the POOR BLACK SLAVE of African descent to be the vanguard of that historic move known in church history as the Azusa Street Revival.
Pause and think about that! God is not a respected or persons!
Seymour was not a Bishop. He didn't need a title to be used of God. Religion has a way of giving and attaching titles to a grace of God. It is subtle evil that promote hierarchy. Hierarchy is not necessarily same as leadership. Leadership is service-driven whereas hierarchy is postion-driven.
Now hear this! Many do not know God's programme for the close of the age. How pathetic! Churches are on a campaign to build the world's largest auditoriums, pastorson a crazy chase for fame, wealth, oppulence and empire building. Many a believer, like their overseers are on a pursuit to "make it in life"; using God as a means to an end. Churches have devised systems, creeds and dogma to promote a transactional gospel. A gospel where christ is not at the centre but man, his desires and accomplishments "in the name of the Lord." God's have mercy! They forget that a man's life does not consist in the abundance of what he or she has. The command of the Lord to seek first the kingdom and its righteousness is no longer on the front burner of our pursuits.
But the end of all things is at at hand. This present age is closing up. The stage is set. Creation is on tip-toes, with exacerbated breath of earnest expectation, waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. This is would not be a church programme advertised on billboards. It is not going to be a crusade. It is much more than a revival. It is the next move of God. It will usher in the FEAST OF TABERNACLES.
This God's next move. Are you prepared? The curtains are drawn and the stage is set for the sons of God to be manifested indeed. This move will not be on the shoulders of the organised church system just like the FEAST OF PENTECOST; Laymen, parishioners, common people will be so anointed of God, and they will come into the realities of the feast of tabernacles.
The Trumpet (distinct message) of tabernacles has been sounded and it is still going on but only those who have ears can hear the joyful sound and hear what the Spirit is saying. The people of God are being called to the altar of holden incense to offer up our soul even the seat of our mind, will, emotion and desire. The offering up of incense is the DEATH TO SELF MESSAGE.
GOD is in the business of renewing our minds and transforming minds by the word. We are even now being delivered from the soulical. We are now called to put on the image of the heavenly (spiritual). We are called to take on the DIVINE NATURE and to be one with Him. This is the AT-ONE-MENT. The soul and the spirit, yeah the twain shall be one. All soulical and fleshy desires would have been offered up on the altar of incense and this is the SALVATION OF THE SOUL which the scriptures say is the END OF OUR FAITH. When that happens, to wit, the redemption of our bodies. Glory!
Thereafter comes the IN-GATHERING. This is what the climax of the feast of tabernacles will be. Unto the Lord shall the gathering together of His people be. A formidable force, an army of Sons of God that will March upon the earth. These Sons of God are the game changers. These are the skillful labourers and harvesters. The field is white and ripe. They will at that time throw in the sickle and great shall be the harvest, which isvthe end of this present age.
All creation waits eagerly on tip-toes for their Manifestation. I wait! We wait even in groaning, I wait! We will wait until our change comes. Maranatha! I will wait until He comes to be glorified and admired in HIS SAINTS. SELAH!
