Obong Owo of doing was at Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort to inspect the massive ongoing renovations at the 5-star hotel.

He said Akwa Ibom has invested heavily in hospitality Ibom Hotel, Four Points by Sheraton, ARISE Resort, and other facilities in Lagos and Abuja. Under his leadership, these assets will no longer run at a loss. Instead, they will create jobs and promote our state to the world.

To make this happen, he is setting up a Strategic Hospitality Management Group to build a strong, homegrown Akwa Ibom brand, just like what was done with Ibom Air.

And for people like me who love good things πŸ˜„, Obong Owo assured that the first 40 renovated rooms will be ready by October and open by December, just in time for Christmas.
