Dear online uncles and aunties,
This is a video of 12 months old Daniella coming down from this high bed all alone.
She deliberately throws down her pacifier, shoes, anything that belongs to her just in case mummy shouts, “Daniella, where are you going? she’ll have a solid excuse “I’m going to pick my things. The moment she successfully gets to the floor and grabs her pacifier, she takes off. She actually prefers being on the floor at this stage and that’s not even my main problem. My problem is that a 12 month old baby is confidently coming down from a high bed and let’s not ignore the real issue here, this tricky tortoise sense of throwing her things down first so she can have a legitimate reason to attempt coming down in the first place.
Please explain to me why a baby is already reasoning like this.
