JUST IN: Ex-Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu Sentence to death By Hanging For Stealing 1 Trillion

In a landmark ruling that has stunned the nation, the Abia State High Court has sentenced former Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to death by hanging after investigators traced ₦1 trillion to his secret foreign account in Australia.

The money, according to court documents, was originally earmarked for the ambitious Abia International Airport project and a light rail system that promised to change the face of the state. Instead, prosecutors revealed it was siphoned off and hidden abroad.

Delivering the verdict, Justice Chukwuemeka Nwogu said:

“The evidence before this court is overwhelming. This was not just theft — it was the betrayal of millions of Abians who were denied progress and hope. Such crimes against humanity must carry the highest penalty.”

He added:

“With ₦1 trillion, Abia could have had two airports, a modern rail line, and stable electricity. Instead, the state was left in decay. This sentence is not just punishment, but a message that no one is above the law.”

The courtroom fell silent as the sentence was pronounced, with gasps breaking out among observers. Outside the court, reactions were divided — some residents celebrated the judgment as “historic justice,” while others said they were shocked by both the scale of the corruption and the severity of the ruling.

Security agencies confirmed that Ikpeazu has been placed under heavy guard as arrangements for the ex*****on move forward. Efforts are also underway to repatriate the stolen funds.

Akwa Ibom State, Governor Pastor Umo Eno has given the Uyo Capital City Development Authority-UCCDA seven days to demolish all illegal structures on government land within the Tropicana Complex.

A release signed by the Commissioner for Information Aniekan Umanah, confirmed that the directive which was issued during the Governor’s Onsite Project Delivery Tour, aims to protect government assets and open up key infrastructure corridors.

Governor Eno, who inspected the 5,000-capacity Convention Centre, the 200-room Ibom Hotels Project, and the ARISE Shopping City, said the move will ensure free access to Ring Road Three and fast-track the completion of strategic projects under the ARISE Agenda.

The Governor warned that private developments must never block public access to government facilities.

Terrorist Kingpin Arrested By the DSS.

The Department of State Security, DSS, has arrested a terrorist kingpin, Abubakar Abba, suspected to be leader of the dreaded Mahmuda terrorists group.

The group has been operating in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State and its suburbs and parts of Kwara State in the past months.

Governor Mohammed Bago of Niger State confirmed the arrest in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim in Minna, yesterday.

Bago said the terrorist leader was arrested by operatives of the DSS in Wawa town in Borgu area of the state without firing a gun and has been transfered to Abuja for further investigation.

“It is true that the terrorist kingpin, who is the leader of Mahmuda, which is one of the most dangerous terror groups in West Africa, Abubakar Abba, has been arrested by the DSS.

“He (Abba) was apprehended through an intelligence-led operation by the DSS and this is a huge victory for us as a people and as a government and President Bola Tinubu deserves commendation for this cheering news.

“Abba’s arrest demonstrates the commitment of President Tinubu to truly end insecurity and promoting the well-being of Nigerians.

“Look at the appointments in the security services especially the DSS, it takes a tremendous degree of intelligence and competence without firing a single shot to have captured a high-profile terrorist like Abba.”

My Secondary School Crush, Now a P**n Star!

"Back in 2016, she was my crush.

It all started during our SS3 days at Methodist Boys High School, Oron. I still remember those years like a half-faded dream. She wasn’t just anyone.

She was the Assistant School Prefect of Methodist Senior Science College, another of the three Methodist schools under the cathedral’s wings in Oron. The other was Mary Hanney Secondary School.

Every first Sunday of the month, all three schools would gather at the grand old Methodist Cathedral for worship. It was during one of those joint services that I saw her.

Dorothy. Graceful, confident, sharp. We exchanged contacts that day. I was in the dormitory then, living the typical high school boy life, but meeting her felt like something rare. Something different.

Fast forward to 2017, fate crossed our paths again, this time at the JAMB registration center. We recognized each other instantly. Smiles. Laughter. A flicker of what-could-be.

Then life picked up speed. Everyone got admitted into universities. We all scattered, chasing dreams in different directions. Time, as always, carried us forward.

Years later, someone brought her up in conversation. They asked, “Felix, you still keeping up with that crush of yours?”

I laughed. “No, not really.”

Then he insisted, “Check the Castedraw. Just check it.” He even sent me the link.

I clicked.

And there she was.

My heart sank.

Dorothy—my once high school crush—is now a renowned Nigerian p**n star.

I stared at the screen, stunned. Not in judgment. Just… in disbelief. The girl I used to admire from afar during cathedral services, now living a life I never could’ve imagined for her.

I was passing by when I saw this guy chancing and insulting an elderly man that was trying to advise him,

So while going to work this Morning I saw him with this serious cuts , I was curious to know what would've happened to him . So while trying to ask questions... one of the eyewitness said.....👇👇👇
