As this year comes to an end, I want to speak honestly.
This year was not easy. It came with struggles I did not plan for, battles I did not announce, and moments that pushed me back when I thought I was finally moving forward. There were days of progress, and there were days of setbacks. Times when things seemed to be working out, and times when everything fell apart again.
There were moments I had to start over — not once, not twice, but many times. Moments when I questioned myself, my strength, and even my direction. Some days, all I could do was show up and survive. And honestly, that was enough.
People may not know how much effort it took to keep going. They may not know the silent tears, the disappointments, the waiting, the delays, or the prayers that seemed unanswered. But I know. And that matters.
Despite the back and forth, the exhaustion, and the tough days, I am still here. Still standing. Still trying. Still believing. That alone is a victory.
As this year closes, I choose to let go of regret and carry forward the lessons. I choose growth over guilt, hope over fear, and gratitude over bitterness. I am proud of myself for not giving up, even when it would have been easier to stop.
To anyone who struggled this year, you are not weak — you are strong for enduring. To anyone who feels behind, your journey is still valid. And to everyone reading this, may the coming year be gentler, clearer, and filled with new opportunities.
Here’s to lessons learned, strength gained, and a new beginning.
Happy New Year in advance.
