I visited my alma mater today, a school I graduated from 11 years ago, and the experience was both nostalgic and heartbreaking.
It is sad to see that this great institution has been largely neglected by both the government and individuals. Despite its history and the number of students it has produced over the years, the school is still lacking in many basic facilities.

There is no major infrastructural development, while the hostel facilities are in a very poor state, and the dining hall also requires urgent attention.

As an alumnus, it is painful to see a place that played such an important role in my life struggling with these challenges.

I sincerely hope that the government, well-meaning individuals, corporate organizations, and the old students’ association will come together to restore the glory of Methodist Senior Science College, Oron.
Our alma mater deserves better. Our students deserve better. Our future deserves better. 🙏🏽
