🔥 ANIOMA IS IGBO – AND IGBO IDENTITY DOES NOT STOP AT STATE BOUNDARIES 🔥
For too long, political maps have tried to redraw what history already settled.
Anioma people of Delta North speak Igbo.
They share culture, names, festivals, and ancestry with the South East.
So when we talk about the proposed joining the , it is not politics — it is identity.
Look at the facts:
📍 In —
Anioma (Asaba, Aniocha, Ndokwa, Ika) are Igbo-speaking people.
📍 In —
Igbanke in Orhionmwon LGA is an indigenous Igbo-speaking community.
Even in parts of Esan land, there are historical migration links traced to Igbo ancestry.
Igbo identity did not start in 1991 when states were created.
It did not begin because of political zoning.
It existed before colonial boundaries.
So the real question is:
Why is it acceptable for others to protect their ethnic alignment,
But when Anioma people demand cultural alignment with their Igbo brothers, it becomes controversial?
No one is taking anybody’s land.
No one is forcing anybody’s identity.
But identity cannot be denied.
If language, ancestry, culture, and history matter —
Then Anioma belongs in the South East conversation.
Let’s debate this maturely.
Is identity defined by political borders,
Or by history and culture?
Drop your thoughts respectfully.

🔥 THE REPUBLIC OF BIAFRA TODAY – IS IT REALLY JUST 5 STATES? THINK AGAIN.
Many people shout “Biafra” and immediately limit it to only the South East. But history and modern political arguments say something bigger.
The former was not built on only five states. The struggle, the war, and the identity touched a wider region.
So when people say “Biafra is only Igbo land,” let’s look deeper.
Here are the 14 states often mentioned in today’s Biafra discussions — spanning South East, South South, and parts of North Central and South West and little land mass of the south west which is occupied by the ijaws:
1.Abia (Igbo)
2. Anambra (Igbo)
3. Ebonyi (Igbo)
4. Enugu (Igbo)
5. Imo (Igbo)
— SOUTH SOUTH —
6. River State (Ikwerre(Igbo)etc, Ogoni, Ijaw, others)
7. Bayelsa state (Ijaw)
8. Akwa Ibom state(Ibibio, Annang, Oron)
9. Cross River State (Efik, Ejagham, Bekwarra, others)
10. Delta (Anioma Igbo, Urhobo, Itsekiri, Ijaw)
11. Edo(Bini, Esan, Afemai)
— NORTH CENTRAL CONNECTION —
12. Kogi (Igala)
13. Benue state (Idoma)etc and other indegenous igbos community SOUTH WEST
14. Ondo state only the ijaw speaking community of the state
Now the big question:
If Biafra was only “Igbo,” why were minority tribes involved in the war?
Why were oil-producing areas part of the old Eastern Region?
Why do some tribes accept the identity while others reject it strongly?
This is where the argument begins.
Some say: 👉 Biafra is purely an Igbo project.
Others say: 👉 It was a regional movement forced by political injustice in 1966–1970.
Another group argues: 👉 Today’s Biafra talk ignores the voices of South South, part of South West and North Central minorities.
So tell me —
Is Biafra just 5 South East states?
Or is it a 14-state regional identity that history cannot erase?
Let’s debate with facts, not insults.
Drop your tribe and your state in the comment section. Let’s see where everyone truly stands.

🇳🇬🔥 DEBATE TIME: WHO REALLY OWNS EGUSI SOUP? IGBO OR YORUBA? 🤔🍲
Let’s talk culture and food history today!
Egusi soup is one of the most popular soups in Nigeria. From East to West, almost everybody eats it. But the big question is:
WHO REALLY ORIGINATED EGUSI SOUP?
Many people associate Egusi soup strongly with the Yoruba people, especially because of how common it is in Yoruba homes and restaurants. In Yoruba land, it is widely prepared and loved.
However, historical and linguistic findings show something interesting…
The word “Egusi” is widely linked to the Igbo language. In Igbo culture, melon seed (Egusi) has been used for generations in traditional soups. Some researchers argue that the original name and early preparation style can be traced to the Igbo people before it spread across regions.
Over time, the soup was adopted and adapted by the Yoruba people, who developed their own unique style — often adding locust beans (iru), different vegetables, and their distinct cooking method.
Today: 🔹 Igbo Egusi – Often thicker, sometimes prepared as “Egusi without vegetable” or with ugu. 🔹 Yoruba Egusi – Often cooked with more blended peppers, iru, and leafy vegetables.
So the real question is:
👉 Did Egusi originate from the Igbo and later spread to the Yoruba? 👉 Or did different tribes independently develop their own Egusi style? 👉 Or is Egusi a shared Nigerian heritage beyond tribal ownership?
Let’s debate respectfully 👇🏾
Drop your tribe and your opinion.
Food is culture. Culture is history. Let’s learn from each other ❤️🇳🇬

📜 THE ORIGIN OF ONITSHA – HISTORY, FACTS & DEBATES
Onitsha, located in Anambra State, is one of the most prominent Igbo cities in Nigeria. Over the years, there have been different historical claims about its origin — especially regarding connections with the ancient Benin Kingdom.
Let us break it down clearly and step by step.
1️⃣ The Ezechima Tradition
Many Igbo historians speak about a figure called Ezechima (also written as Eze Chima).
According to Igbo oral history:
Ezechima migrated with his followers.
His descendants later founded several communities across present-day Anambra and Delta areas.
Communities linked to this migration include towns in:
Anambra State
Delta State
Parts of Imo and Ebonyi areas
These communities speak Igbo language and practice Igbo customs and traditions.
2️⃣ The Benin Connection Debate
There is also a historical debate that links Onitsha’s royal institution to the ancient Benin Empire, ruled by the Oba.
Some oral accounts suggest:
There was interaction between migrants and the Benin Kingdom.
Royal symbols and titles in Onitsha show similarities to Benin royal traditions.
This has led some to claim ancestral links.
However, cultural interaction does not automatically mean ethnic identity.
Throughout history in West Africa:
Kingdoms traded
Royal families intermarried
Political alliances were formed
This does not mean one ethnic group “owns” the other.
3️⃣ Language & Cultural Identity
One of the strongest identity markers of any people is language.
Onitsha people:
Speak Igbo language
Practice Igbo customs
Participate in Igbo traditional institutions
Identify as Igbo
Language is a powerful cultural foundation. Communities in:
Anambra State
Delta State
Imo State
Ebonyi State
that bear the name Onitsha all speak Igbo dialects and follow Igbo traditional systems.
4️⃣ Onitsha Ado vs Onitsha in Anambra
There are different towns named Onitsha.
For example:
Onitsha Ado in Delta
Onitsha in Anambra
But they are culturally Igbo communities, not Bini-speaking communities.
5️⃣ Why This Debate Still Exists
History in Africa was mostly oral before colonial documentation.
Because of that:
Different communities preserve different versions.
Political influence sometimes shaped narratives.
Royal symbolism may be misinterpreted as ethnic origin.
🔥 The Important Question
Ethnic identity is not decided by:
Royal title similarities
Marriage claims
Political rivalry stories
It is largely defined by:
Language
Culture
Self-identification
Shared traditions
Onitsha today is recognized as an Igbo community culturally and linguistically.
🎤 For Clinton Entertainment TV
Instead of promoting division, let’s promote historical awareness.
Nigeria is made up of powerful civilizations:
Igbo
Benin
Yoruba
Hausa and others
Each has its own rich history.
Understanding history should build knowledge — not conflict.

1️⃣ Hausa–Fulani
The Hausa–Fulani people are the largest ethnic group in Nigeria. They dominate most of Northern Nigeria and their language, Hausa, is one of the most widely spoken languages in West Africa.
States where Hausa is strongly spoken include:
Kano State, Kaduna State, Katsina State, Sokoto State, Bauchi State and many others.
Hausa is also used as a trade and communication language across Northern Nigeria and even in parts of Niger, Ghana, and Cameroon.
2️⃣ Yoruba
The Yoruba people are mainly found in the South-West, but their language is widely spoken across Nigeria due to migration, business, and education.
Major Yoruba-speaking states include:
Lagos State, Oyo State, Ogun State, Osun State and Ondo State part of kogi(okura) and Ilorin.
Because of Lagos being Nigeria’s commercial hub, Yoruba is widely heard across the country.
3️⃣ Igbo
The Igbo people are mainly from the South-East, but Igbo language is spoken widely outside the region due to business and migration.
Core Igbo-speaking states include:
Abia State, Anambra State, Enugu State, Imo State and Ebonyi State.
Igbo is also widely spoken in parts of Rivers State, Delta State, benue state, cross river state, kogi etc. and major cities across Nigeria.
4️⃣ Fulani
The Fulani (also called Fulɓe) are spread across many Northern and Middle Belt states. While often linked with the Hausa culturally, Fulani have their own language (Fulfulde) which is widely spoken across West Africa.
They are found across Northern Nigeria and are known for cattle rearing and trans-regional migration, making their language heard in many states.
5️⃣ Kanuri
The Kanuri people are one of the largest ethnic groups in the North-East. Their language is dominant in states like:
Borno State and Yobe State.
Due to historical influence from the Kanem-Bornu Empire, Kanuri language spread across parts of Niger, Chad, and Cameroon.
✅ Conclusion
Nigeria has over 250 ethnic groups, but Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Fulani, and Kanuri stand out as some of the largest and most widely spoken tribes beyond their original regions. Their languages influence trade, politics, education, and culture across the country.
