Read to the end!!
My sister's child, Victoria, was barely 6 years old when she started living with me
Now, she is almost 16 and can do everything that needs to be done in the house.
She can cook, she can clean and she does them so well and that makes me proud of 'us'
If you taste her food, you would know that she's been trained by the best ππ
But before we got to where we are today , it was long journey of training and retraining, of yelling and crying, of insisting and resisting.... And let me not lie, sometimes I used broom and turning stick to correct her brain.
Now, it's my daughter's turn to be trained and I am not sparing her a bit....'wisk the eggs, wash the plates, fill that pot with water... come and carry my plates, clean my shoes for me, do this, do that'.
The errands just keep reeling in...and the interesting thing is she enjoys doing them and does them excitedly; probably because she sees the older girl doing it....if she ever tries to resist, I go get to use the rod that the Bible recommends π but let's hope we never get there π
Someday, Victoria will leave to go and 'study abroad' according to her π€£ and I will not be in want of who to fill her shoes π
Dear moms, are you only training 'person daughter' that is living with you and carrying your own daughter as an egg....or are you wise enough to train your own daughter(s) too?
