In all my quest to learn a digital skill, testing and jumping from one to the other (believe me, they are a lot of them)
I intentionally avoided anything called affiliate marketing.
Not because it wasn't a a skill or I didn't see people's wins. I just didn't understand it.
Actually, I thought it wasn't for me.
Deep down, I felt I couldn't do it. Especially for someone who completely hated the idea of coming off salesy.
I didn't want to sell anything or ask anybody to buy anything.
Oh, how naive of me.
Well, as you grow and expose yourself to more knowledge and experience, one of the lessons you'd learn is this:
The things you need to do to make it in life don't always come to you naturally. Most times, you have to learn them.
And selling I decided to learn.
I joined a community. Started going through training. Just trying to explore and understand how Affiliate marketing work.
I'm still learning, but it's beginning to make sense now.
I'm sure a lot of you are still on the fence wondering if affliate marketing is something you should give a thought to or not.
