PHOTOS AS OGBUDUGBUDU COMMUNITY CELEBRATES UTOLU DAY WITH GRANDEUR
The Ogbudugbudu Community in Egbema Kingdom, Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, recently celebrated its annual Great Utolu Day, also known as Ogbudugbudu Day, Oboro Toi, with pomp and pageantry.
The three-day event, from 7th to 9th of January 2026, held at Utolu Primary School Field, brought together indigenes and diaspora communities to showcase their rich cultural heritage.
The celebration featured a range of activities, including a football match, praise night, boat regatta, cultural dance contest, history telling, and beauty pageantry; organized by General Super Layefa Kamboh, aka 7 Seas, a prominent Niger Delta agitator.
Speaking with Pst Divine Beke Inor, the planning committee chairman, expressed his delight with the event's success, highlighting its role in promoting unity and development in the community. "This community is a peace-loving community. We want to appreciate everyone who made this Utolu Day a success," he said.
General Super Layefa Kamboh, aka 7 Seas, echoed this sentiment, stating, "I feel so very, very excited. This is the beginning of our success. I believe tomorrow and now things will be more better as we are seeing it."
The event was attended by notable personalities, including Mr. Akuyoma Honesty, aka, Oghokpofo), Engr. Warefa Authur, CEO of Tuwasco Marine, ably represented by Darlington Agbe, among others.
