Following the very pleasant news that the Warri Refinery is back on stream, the member representing Warri Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon Chief Thomas Ereyitomi MHR, congratulates the Group Managing Director of NNPC Ltd, Malam Mele Kyari for this feat and describes it as a welcome development and a win for Warri Federal Constituency.
The Warri Refining and Petrochemicals Company,WRPC was shut down and repairs had been going on, in a bid to reposition the plant and get it working optimally.

ACHIEVING BALANCE IN A MULTI ETHNIC CONSTITUENCY

The Warri Federal Constituency consists of Warri South, Warri South West and Warri North Local Government Areas. The Constituency is a cocktail of ethnic nationalities, comprising the Itsekiris, Ijaws, Urhobos and other tribes resident and doing business in the constituency. The claim of the Itsekiris to the constituency is a unique one, being that this is the only constituency that they feel an acute sense of inclusivity and belonging yet. Little wonder, many Itsekiris feel a sense of entitlement and almost forget that the constituency is multi ethnic.

Constituents from each of the ethnic nationalities have their peculiarities, expectations and disappointments, with it's consequent latent conflict triggers. It takes a Legislator with a keen sense of diplomacy, political shrewdness and sagacity to be able to navigate the labyrinth of competing political interests and deliver dividends of democracy to an often insatiate Constituency.

Hon Chief Thomas Ereyitomi is not a neophyte politician. He is a two term Legislator who is well apprised of the complexities of the Warri Federal Constituency. A strategic lobbyist, he not only enjoys the confidence of his colleagues at the House of Representatives, but also displays admirable dexterity in aligning his ethos with the aspirations of the grassroots. He is also a cultural ambassador of his people and delights in honoring social and traditional commitments.

Diden: Problem Solving Is In My DNA.
EMEDE Agog For Diden

The PDP Delta South Senatorial Candidate, Hon Michael Diden, on Saturday, 18th February, 2023, reiterated his philosophy of politics, that politics is about friendships, and that he will consolidate on the friendship between him and the Isokos and ensure that the Isokos get their fair share of equitable representation at the Red Chambers.
Hon Michael Diden made this promise at EMEDE where he addressed a mammoth crowd of community folks at the Emede Community Town Hall. After listening to several Isoko Sons and Daughters recount how Hon Michael Diden had impacted positively on critical issues affecting their personal and communal lives, he told them that his doors are open to everyone, as he does not shy away from solving problems, as problem solving is in his DNA. He promised the people that upon his victory at the polls, he shall sponsor legislation that will ensure the Federal Government constructs a Dam across the River Niger to mitigate the perennial flooding ravaging Isoko Nation.
The highlight of the Emede Consultative Visit was the visit to the Palace of the Ovie of Emede Kingdom, where Hon Michael Diden and his entourage were warmly received by His Royal Highness, the Queen Mother and Palace Chiefs. Royal prayers and blessings were offered and duly received.

Late Friday, January 20, 2023, Hon Michael Diden paid a condolence visit to the family of the immediate Past Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan CON and his wife, Deaconess Roli Uduaghan, to bid farewell to Late Brig. Gen Sunny Esijolomi Tuoyo, father of Deaconess Roli Uduaghan.
Hon Michael Diden prayed God to give the Uduaghans the fortitude to cope with the painful loss.

DIDEN: OGHEYE ULTRA MODERN FLOATING MARKET IS A WIN FOR THE ECONOMY OF WARRI NORTH, DELTA STATE.

The Delta South PDP Senatorial Candidate and a former Warri North Council Boss, Hon Michael Diden has lauded the Executive Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for the historic commissioning of the Ogheye Ultra Modern Floating Market, on Wednesday, describing it as a win for the economy of Warri North in particular, and Delta State in general.
Visibly elated, he proudly stated that the Ogheye Ultra Modern Floating Market is a landmark achievement of the PDP Government in Delta State and wasted no time in enjoining Deltans to continue to vote for the PDP in the upcoming general elections.
Hon Michael Diden urged the residents of the host community, neighbouring riverine communities and investors to take full advantage of the economic opportunities that the market shall create. He promised to attract more economic opportunities to his constituency when voted into office.

Diden Condemns Edo Train Attack

Hon Michael Diden has described as "heinous and barbaric" Saturday's attack and kidnap of passengers by unidentified gunmen at a train station in Igueben, Edo State.
The intending passengers were waiting at the train station to board the train to Warri when the dastardly incident occurred.
While condemning the act, Diden called on the security agencies to quickly track and apprehend the gunmen.
The train station at Igueben is one of several train stations along the Warri Itakpe Train Corridor.
Hon Michael Diden also reiterated his campaign promise of working with the Presidency and the Federal Ministry of Transportation to extend the rail from the Alfred Rewane Train Station at Ujevwu, to Warri Port, upon his imminent victory at the general elections.

The Delta South PDP Senatorial Candidate, Hon Micheal Diden has commiserated with the Staff and Management of Ebenco Global Links Ltd over the fire outbreak at its Koko Depot, which occurred on the morning of Saturday, 7th January,2023.
Hon Micheal Diden expressed shock at the incident, and prayed God to grant the Staff and Management of the Company solace in this very trying times for the Company.

The Mega Bible Study Competition of the Mega Praise Church of Christ Int'l Headquarters is an initiative facilitated by Evangelist (Mrs) Light Oritseweyinmi Diden, a prolific prayer warrior and Resident Pastor of the Mega Praise Church of Christ Int'l Asaba.
About a hundred persons, across age groups, including the blind, participated in the competition at the Mega Praise Church of Christ Int'l Headquarters, Sapele, Delta State on Saturday, 6 November, 2021.
