š³š¬ NIGERIA @66 ā OUR PAIN, OUR HOPE, OUR STRUGGLE
A Comradely Message In Amb. Comr. Stanley O. Obukohwo (OāStainlez DāUrhoborizer), DELCCOHMAS Presidentās Voice!
Fellow Nigerians, Comrades, Brothers and Sisters,
As our dear nation clocks 66 years of proclaimed independence, let us pauseānot merely to celebrate, but to feel, reflect and speak from the heart of the Nigerian people.
Sixty-six years is not a small journey.
Yet, for millions of our people, the dream of independence still feels painfully unfinished. We have witnessed hardship, insecurity, unemployment, poverty, inequality, frustration, broken promises and the erosion of hope. We have watched families struggle, young people search desperately for opportunities, workers battle rising costs, and communities continue to cry for justice, dignity and meaningful development.
Comrades, our grievances are real. Our disappointments are real. Our pains are real.
But so is our love for Nigeria.
We must therefore refuse to allow disappointment to destroy our patriotism or hardship to destroy our unity.
WE WILL WISH NIGERIANS A āHAPPY INDEPENDENCEā WHEN NIGERIA IS TRULY INDEPENDENTāWHEN THE FREEDOM PROCLAIMED IS FELT BY THE PEOPLE, AND WHEN DEMOCRACY IS EXPERIENCED NOT ONLY IN WORDS, BUT IN THE DAILY LIVES OF NIGERIANS.
Until that day, let us remain SOLID, OBIDIENT, UNITED, PATRIOTIC & STRONGER.
Let us stand togetherānot because everything is alright, but because Nigeria belongs to all of us.
Let us speak against injustice.
Let us demand accountability.
Let us defend the dignity of the ordinary Nigerian.
Let us protect our unity.
Let us keep believing that a stronger, safer, fairer and better Nigeria remains possible.
Comrades, we may be disappointed, but we must not surrender.
We may be hurting, but we must not lose hope.
We may disagree, but we must not destroy one another.
At 66, may Nigeria move beyond merely counting years and begin counting real progress, real freedom, real justice, real opportunity and real democratic dividends.
May the cries of the Nigerian people be heard.
May our sacrifices not be in vain.
May the Nigeria we dream of become the Nigeria we can proudly hand over to the generations coming after us.
Happy New Month.
Happy Stronger & Better Nigeriaāfor the good, peace, dignity and safety of us all. š³š¬
