A COUNSEL TO THE BELIEVERS

3 John 1:5-8 NLT
[5]Dear friend, you are being faithful to God when you care for the traveling teachers who pass through, even though they are strangers to you.
[6]They have told the church here of your loving friendship. Please continue providing for such teachers in a manner that pleases God.
[7]For they are traveling for the Lord, and they accept nothing from people who are not believers.
[8]So we ourselves should support them so that we can be their partners as they teach the truth.

The traveling TEACHERS in that passage represents missionaries who are posted and sent to places for the Lord's work.
So John was commending a man (Gaius) for always taking care of every missionary that was sent to that church and encouraged the church to partner with missionaries.

You cannot go out for God, but you can partner with them to ensure they find ease in doing the work God has called them to do.

I Romans 16:1 to the end, Apostle Paul mentioned the names of so many people who he regarded as his helpers in ministry and was commending them.
Meaning, even the Apostles and Jesus inclusive wouldn't have done much for God without the help of these people.

Luke 8:1-3
[1]Soon afterward Jesus began a tour of the nearby towns and villages, preaching and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom of God. He took his twelve disciples with him,
[2]along with some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases. Among them were Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons;
[3]Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod’s business manager; Susanna; and many others who were contributing from their own resources to support Jesus and his disciples.

Missionaries are front soldiers for the propagation of the gospel. Support them in any way you can.

Hebrews 13:5 (NLT)
[5]Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said,
“I will never fail you.
I will never abandon you.”

I don't know the financial and all kinds of pressure you are currently facing right now, this is God reassuring you of His commitment.

Be strong fellow soldier. it is not easy right now, but you will come out strong.

GOOD MORNING JESUS

1 Thessalonians 2:4
[4]For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts.

Until God approves you, He cannot entrust you with the kingdom assignment.

God will have to trust a man first before entrusting him with kingdom assignment and resources.

ref: Genesis 18:17-18
[17]And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
[18]Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

Before God gave Isaac to Abraham, God trusted Abraham's ability to raise Isaac in the ways of the Lord.

Some children are kingdom resources that God cannot just release into the hands of any careless man or woman.
This is because children are weapons in God's hands.

Jeremiah 51:20
[20]Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;

So God look at the kind battles that is facing a generation and He think of the kind of Children (Weapon) to release.
As for the parents (The Hands) that must receive these weapons, they must be tested and trusted.

This is my beloved son,in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
A generation entrusted with a Man without a single fear of mismanagement.

Sir, Ma'am, what you are asking the Lord for, can he trust you with it?
Like Esther, won't you forget why you got that promotion later?

Jesus was entering a city and needed to ride on a donkey, He directed his disciples on where to find the donkey.
Note that as soon as the disciples told the owner that the Masters has need of it, the man let it go.

This is what it means to be entrusted with kingdom resources. That when the Master comes asking for it, you let it go without murmuring and complaining.
This is because you know in the first place who gave it to you and why it was given to you.

YOUR HEART IS ALWAYS NOT RIGHT

Numbers 15:39 KJV
And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord , and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a wh***ng:

Please take this to heart and take it seriously. This matter is a very serious one, in knowing the will of God concerning matters that are very cogent.

You know, I have heard people say this popular words to people when counseling them about choosing God's will, "follow your heart".

Please it is dangerous to do so.
Because it is in your heart doesn't mean it is right.

Your heart can be wrong.

Proverbs 14:12 KJV
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Even the ways of the devil always seem right but that doesn't mean it is right.

The fact that it seem right doesn't mean it is right.

Always submit what is in your heart to proper scrutiny and checking, else you might miss it.

Don't authenticate your decision by what comes to your heart first, pls check it.

The Bible says guard your heart with all diligence, cuz out of it flows the issues if life.
Proverbs 4:23

If the Bible is asking you to guard your heart, it definitely means that there is a possibility of the devil dropping something that will seem right into your heart.

Your heart is like a well that receives water. It can receive water from the ground and of course from the sky which is through rainfall.

It is not guaranteed that whatever that comes into your heart is from God. Please check it.
