Ozoro Under Siege: When Will the Bloodshed End?

I'm appalled by the deafening silence surrounding the senseless killings in Ozoro. Why aren't the media and youth using their platforms to raise awareness? Is it because it's not a political issue?

We can't afford to stay silent! It's time to start conversations, educate ourselves, and seek solutions to end the violence and fear gripping our community.

Must our people be hunted down like animals in their own land? Can we walk freely without fear of being killed?

Let's come together to demand change! Let's make our voices heard and work towards a safer Ozoro.

It has come to our attention that the students of Delta State Polytechnic Ozoro have been waiting for their Ordinary National Diploma (OND) results for two years, and have not received any information from the university Management regarding the delay. This is a grave situation that must be addressed with the utmost urgency.

The students have been left in a state of uncertainty and anxiety, unable to move forward with their lives.

The university must take immediate action to release the results, so that these students can continue their studies and pursue their goals. This delay is causing immense hardship for the students and their families, and it is unacceptable.

We urge the university management to prioritize the needs of the students and release the results as soon as possible. We also call on the university to communicate more effectively with the students, and to provide regular updates on the status of the results.

We believe that this situation requires swift and decisive action from the university, and we urge them to take all necessary steps to resolve this situation does not occur again in the future.

We believe that the Polytechnic student and the new institution students of Delta State University of Science and Technology Ozoro deserve to have their academic progress prioritized, and we will continue to advocate for their rights. We urge all stakeholders to work together to resolve this issue and ensure that the students' needs are met.

NDDC Cancels All Unexecuted Contracts from 2002 to 2019

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has reportedly cancelled all unexecuted contracts from 2002 to 2019.

All affected contractors are expected to refund mobilization payment advanced (paid) them by the Commision.

A Former Acting Managing Director of the Commission, Ibim Semenitari shared the info on Sunday on her social media handle.

Femi Otedola gifts DJ Cuppy £5,000,000 Country Home for her 30th birthday

The daughter of a famous Nigerian billionaire and business mogul, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, better known by her stage name DJ Cuppy, was left speechless yesterday when her father, Femi Otedola, gave her a £5,000,000 country home for her 30th birthday.

This comes a week after her billionaire father, Femi Otedola, set sail on the world’s biggest yacht to celebrate her 60th birthday.

Cuppy is already a well-known name because of her music career. She started out as a DJ and then moved on to performing and writing songs. She has made hits and singles with Tekno, Rema, Fireboy DML, Teni, Sarkodie, Skuki, and Zlatan which have topped the charts. Her first album, “Original Copy,” was definitely one of the biggest releases of 2020. This made her one of the best musicians in Nigeria.

Since then, Cuppy has focused on her charity work with the Cuppy Foundation, where she tries to help the most vulnerable children and young people in Nigeria. Since 2021, when the Cuppy Foundation teamed up with Save The Children UK, many charities in Nigeria got much-needed help.

Cuppy also decided to go back to school when she said last year that she had been accepted to Oxford University for a master’s program in African studies. In September, she said that after a hard and challenging year at the prestigious school, she had earned a master’s degree. . People say that life starts at 30, and considering all the great and amazing things Cuppy has done for herself and for so many people she has been able to help, one would look at this next phase of her life with a lot of optimism and the belief that there is much more good to come.

Cuppy spent her special day with her dogs, Dudu and Funfun, in her Pink Penthouse. She chose to spend the day thinking about herself and her plans for the future.

Delta state polytechnic Otefe-Oghara claim they make some mistake on thier release memo at 1st November 2022.

On the memo they increase acceptance fees from #10,000 to #35,000 and added #12,000 to school fees.

After the intervention of Delta student Comrades, Nans, Naps, sug etc.

The institution promise to reduce the fees by 50% which means #15,000 will be reduced on the fees.

It came to our notice that the institution claim they made some mistake on the fees and now make full amendment.

They claim #30,000 was added to the school fees but on the memo it shows less than #30,000.

The Student Comrade claim it was truth but to our knowledge, the Comrade react to the memo release on 1st of November.

The new school fees is now higher than the memo release on 1st of November.

I see no reason why Nans, Naps and the rest should accept such a big mistake from the institution.

Delta state polytechnic Otefe-Oghara release Memo, they have Increased school fees twice within 7days.

The management of delta state polytechnic Otefe-Oghara released a Memo for Increament of fees on the 1st of November 2022, Then released another memo on 7th November 2022 for indigenous students.

It states that the fees were increased instead of reduction of #15,000 as agreed by Nans, Nap, and the Otefe-Oghara Sug Executive.

Delta State Polytechnic Otefe-Oghara release Memo for graduating student on Resit-Exam.

This memo state that ND2 and HND 2 student will be able to resit for their outstanding courses and payment of forty thousand Naira only ( #40,000) to be paid by student.

This institution no calm down at all.

Means student are paying more than 50% of thier school fees to be able to resit for exam.
