Please, don’t become a coach overnight! 👀

I’ve been observing something in the creator space, and I think we need to talk about it.🤔

You make one viral post, your earnings increase a little, and suddenly you want to start teaching everybody how to become successful creators.🙉

Slow down.🐢

Being an educator requires more than having one successful post.💁

You need to understand your content pillars, strategy, audience, analytics, storytelling and different content formats.🤷‍♀️

And please, don’t see another creator doing well in coaching and immediately decide, ‘That’s what I should do too.’👀

Your journey may be completely different.

👉🏿Explore your own creativity.
👉🏿Test different formats.
👉🏿Study what works.
👉🏿Go deeper.
👉🏿Make mistakes.
👉🏿Learn from them.

And most importantly, give people value beyond ‘engage more’ and ‘post consistently.’😁

There is so much more to content creation than that.

If you want to teach creators, become a student first.🤷‍♀️

Don’t just copy someone’s destination because you like the results they’re getting.

Find your own lane, develop your expertise, and then teach from experience…. not imitation.✌️

“Focus on what your audience likes.”

And then it showed me this👇

💰 Finance, Business & Investment typically get 67% more views.

Now I’m wondering… 🤔

How does the algorithm know my audience may be interested in this topic when I haven’t even posted about it?

Here’s the interesting part…

The algorithm doesn’t only look at what YOU post.

It can also learn from what your audience watches, engages with, searches for and interacts with across Facebook.

So sometimes Facebook may discover an audience interest before you, the creator, have even tested that topic. 👀

But remember …🤔

A recommendation is a signal to test, not a command to completely change your niche.

I might just test one finance/business post and see what happens. 😂

If you use a random trending song that's NOT in Meta's Licensed Music catalogue, Facebook will either do these👇

1. Remove monetization from that Reel

2. Give your revenue to the music owner

3. Mute or block the Reel

What to do as a creator instead 💁

Before you add music to your Reel,

👉🏿go to:
Create Reel > Add Music > Check the label Licensed music

👉🏿Only songs inside Meta's audio library marked Licensed music are safe to earn from.

Pro tip: If you want to use a viral song that's not licensed, post it without monetization - or use the original sound version.💁
