📘 Did You Know? 🇧🇼 Botswana is home to Africa’s largest elephant population. Especially in Chobe National Park. But beyond wildlife, this nation chose dignity over division after independence in 1966, rising from colonial protectorate to one of Africa’s most stable democracies. The Kalahari Desert covers 70% of the land, where the San people still carry ancestral wisdom etched in the sand.

northwestern Namibia, a tribe of nomadic hunter-gatherers and pastoralists have managed to adapt to the harsh, unfriendly environment of the Kunene region. The Himba people move from one waterhole to the next. Also known as the “Red People of Africa,” around 20,000 – 50,000 aboriginals inhabit these realms today. Their nickname comes from the mixture they use to cover their skin, made from butter fat and ochre (natural earth pigment containing iron oxide). Called otijze, it protects them from the sun, giving their skin a reddish tone.

How in the world does Michelle Alozie do it? 👊🏽

I have been following Michelle since she showed up for the Super Falcons, bossing that defense with so much calm and class while playing in the NWSL for Houston Dash, and then I found out she’s also building a medical career alongside football.

I was like, “How??”

And then you see her on the pitch, rocking two different boots like it’s normal 😃
Turns out, it’s her thing. A personal statement. A reminder to always stand out.

Girl has been a star since day one— obsessed with growth, discipline, and delivering her best even on global stages like the Women’s World Cup.

Not to brag 😎

But imagine playing at the World Cup while working in cancer research, holding a Yale degree, and inspiring young girls across Africa at the same time.

She’s just 27 now, and honestly, I can’t think of up to three athletes her age who are doing what she’s doing, the way she’s doing it.

And guess what? She believes in Jesus and is not afraid to share her faith on the biggest stages 💜

Let’s celebrate her and be inspired by her story 🥰
