The Bayelsa Health Insurance Scheme (BHIS) held its first interactive session of the year with health care providers across the state. This session focused on evaluating performance, introducing the new CHMIS App, and discussing its role in improving claims management—ensuring faster payments for fee-for-service and claims processing.

Our team is continuously working to enhance the application for better efficiency and service delivery. Critical issues affecting health care delivery were also addressed, with a strong commitment to boosting health care standards in Bayelsa.

The Executive Secretary, Dr. Zuoboemi Agadah, encouraged hospital heads with concerns about BHIS operations to either opt out or offer constructive feedback to improve the scheme for the benefit of all.

Together, we are building a stronger, more efficient health care system in Bayelsa! 💪🏽💙
