Residents of Okutukutu Community in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, have expressed deep concern over the collapsed wooden bridge linking parts of the community. They lament that the damaged bridge has exposed residents, especially schoolchildren, to serious danger and has made it difficult for pupils and students to attend school regularly.
The community is therefore appealing to the Bayelsa State Government and other relevant authorities to urgently intervene by repairing or replacing the bridge to ensure the safety of residents and restore easy access to schools and other essential services.
