As a way of playing a vital role to the society and rendering help; Hon.umar iya (katukan Gulak) single handedly donated 1.2 to the people of mubi south,1.2m to maiha, 1m to mubi north and 1.2m to madagali. This kind gesture is rare to find in the heart of Adamawa. Hon Umar iya katukan Gulak wishes all the Muslim faithful a happy and blissful Ramadan period.

Hon. Umar Sanda Iya (Katukan Gulak) attended the coronation of His Majesty, Dr. Ali Danburan, as the first Chiefdom of Ptil Madagali, a historic event for the people of Madagali LGA. He congratulated the newly installed leader and pledged his support for the chiefdom’s progress.

Hon. Umar Iya also expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Alhaji Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for granting Madagali its first chiefdom. He described the decision as a landmark achievement that strengthens traditional leadership and cultural heritage in the region.
