Philanthropist and political leader, Alhaji Abdulrahman Bashir Haske, has sponsored the distribution of free fertilizers, improved seedlings, and agrochemicals to women and youths across all 21 LGAs in Adamawa State.

Through the Abdulrahman Bashir Women and Youth Forum in partnership with APC leaders, this initiative is giving thousands of farmers fresh hope, bigger harvests, and stronger communities.

šŸ—£ļø ā€œAgriculture is the backbone of our economy… By supporting our youths and women, we are planting seeds of hope, resilience, and prosperity,ā€ Haske said at the launch.

From Mayo-Belwa to Michika, testimonies poured in—farmers expanding their fields, widows grateful for a lifeline, and youths inspired to see farming as a future, not a burden.

Leaders hailed Haske’s effort as true leadership by action, calling it ā€œa lifelineā€ for Adamawa.

This isn’t just fertilizer for the soil—it’s fertilizer for dreams. 🌾✨

Breaking News: Zamfara Kidnap Victims’ Families Allege Ransom Paid Despite Federal Government’s Reconciliation Claim

Relatives of the recently released kidnapped children have revealed that they were forced to pay ransom before their loved ones were freed—contrary to the Federal Government’s claim of a reconciliation deal with the bandits.

One of the family members, Zaharaddeen Zarumi Gusau, confirmed that each victim’s family paid ₦2 million to secure their release. He added that several others remain in captivity because their families could not raise the required ransom.

According to him, the abductors had promised to release the children on Tuesday after payment, but failed to do so, citing ā€œheavy rainfall.ā€ On Wednesday, reports emerged that the National Security Adviser’s reconciliation committee, led by Nuhu Ribadu, had arrived in the town to oversee the handover. Families who went to meet the committee were told not to be deceived by the Fulani bandits since ransom had already been paid.

However, prominent cleric Albani Gombe dismissed the families’ claims, insisting that no ransom was paid and that the ā€œpeace arrangementā€ was still intact.

The families recounted that on Thursday, the children were only released at 5 p.m.—after waiting since 9 a.m.—further fueling suspicion that the authorities were concealing the truth.

Meanwhile, fresh violence erupted yesterday in Kanya, where the same bandit leader, Dan Sadiyya—reportedly part of the so-called peace deal—abducted 25 more people and killed four others.

This development has raised serious doubts about the Federal Government’s reconciliation approach, as armed groups continue to extort money and launch attacks despite official assurances of peace.

Dr Emmanuel N Musa gave a sum of ₦500 Million Naira to Empower Youths in Adamawa State.

As a citizen of Adamawa State, I feel a strong need to speak about something that has truly touched many lives Dr Emmanuel N. Musa's recent donation of ₦500 million to support people across our communities.

In times when so many leaders and wealthy individuals turn a blind eye to the suffering around them, Dr Musa has shown us what it means to be a true humanitarian. This is not the first time he’s done something great, but this particular act is on another level. ₦500 million is not a small amount, yet he gave it willingly not for praise or politics, but to uplift people who are struggling.

His support has reached far and wide: helping students with scholarships, giving young people the capital to start businesses, supporting widows and orphans, paying hospital bills for those who can’t afford treatment, and even helping prisoners regain their freedom by settling their fines.

What makes it even more inspiring is that he never forgets where he came from. His kindness spreads across local government areas, from Hong to Gombi, Mubi to Yola people are feeling the impact of his generosity everywhere.

To me, Dr Emmanuel N. Musa is not just a philanthropist he is a beacon of hope for Adamawa. He is showing us that you don’t have to wait for government help to make a difference. He’s doing what many in power fail to do: putting people first.

May Allah continue to bless and protect him. If more people followed his example, our state and our country would be a much better place.
