PURELIFE Foundation Donates ₦20,000 Each to New Mothers Across Yola and Girei Hospitals
In a continued demonstration of compassion and commitment to community well-being, Ahmad Uthman Muhammad, founder of the PURELIFE Foundation, has donated the sum of ₦20,000 each to newly delivered mothers across several hospitals within Jimeta, Yola and Girei local government areas of Adamawa State.
The donation exercise covered Modibbo Adama Teaching Hospital Yola, Specialist Hospital Yola, Nana Asmau Primary Health Care, and Girei Primary Health Care Centre, where the PURELIFE Foundation team reached out to dozens of mothers who recently gave birth.
According to the foundation, the initiative was designed to support new mothers with immediate post-delivery expenses and encourage safe delivery practices within public health institutions.
Speaking during the presentation, the Chief Executive Officer CEO of the Foundation Ahmad Uthman Muhammad, emphasized that the gesture was part of PURELIFE Foundation’s broader mission to promote maternal and child health, reduce hardship among low-income families, and support quality healthcare delivery in Adamawa State.
“We believe every new mother deserves support and encouragement. The period after childbirth can be financially and emotionally demanding, and this small contribution is our way of standing with them,”
Medical personnel at the hospitals commended the foundation for its continuous community-driven interventions, noting that such humanitarian actions motivate mothers to seek proper medical attention during childbirth rather than opting for unsafe home deliveries.
One of the beneficiaries at Modibbo Adama Teaching Hospital, Mrs. Hauwa Ali, expressed her gratitude, saying:
“I didn’t expect this kind of support. Things are very hard, and this money will help me buy some of the things my baby needs. May Allah bless Ahmad Uthman and his foundation.”
The donation initiative forms part of a series of outreach programs carried out by PURELIFE Foundation in its ongoing campaign for better maternal healthcare, environmental sustainability, and youth empowerment across Adamawa State and beyond.
