BREAKING: Sowore Threatens A*o Rock Protest Over Abducted Schoolchildren.

Human rights activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has criticised the Federal Government over the continued captivity of schoolchildren and teachers abducted by suspected kidnappers nearly two weeks ago.

Sowore made the remarks during a protest organised by the National Union of Teachers (NUT) in Abuja on Wednesday, warning that demonstrators could march to the Presidential Villa, popularly known as A*o Rock, if authorities fail to secure the release of the victims before Thursday.

The activist accused the government of responding too slowly to the incident, insisting that the lives of innocent pupils and teachers must not be treated with negligence.

β€œThe country cannot continue to normalise the abduction of schoolchildren while families remain in fear and uncertainty,” Sowore said while addressing protesters.
