*DECLARATION* *OF* *INTENT* *TO* *CONTEST* *ELECTION*
CATHERINE MAC-DONALD JATAU DECLARES INTENT TO CONTEST ADC PRIMARIES FOR YOLA NORTH STATE CONSTITUENCY
I am honored to officially announce my intention to seek the ticket of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to contest election to represent the good people of Yola North Constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly in the 2027 general polls.
After extensive consultations with stakeholders, community leaders, youths, women and voters at the grassroots across Yola North, I have decided to answer the call to serve and offer myself for consideration during our party's primaries.
This decision is driven by a genuine desire to provide purposeful, inclusive, and effective representation that will translate into tangible development and improved quality of life for our people.
My aspiration is built on the foundation of Unity & Progress 2027 – a vision that encompasses:
✅ Amplifying the voice of Yola North in the State Assembly
✅ Empowering and highlighting the needs of women, youth, and marginalized groups
✅ Championing the drive for quality education and accessible healthcare
✅ Driving infrastructure development and opening of economic opportunities
✅ Promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance
✅ Fostering unity and inclusive growth across all communities and enhancing security
As I seek to emerge as our party's flag bearer, I humbly appeal to all ADC delegates, party faithful, and stakeholders in Yola North to give me the opportunity to represent our great party in the 2027 elections.
I believe in a democratic process that is fair, transparent, and reflective of the true aspirations of our people. Together, we can build a Yola North where every voice matters and every community experiences meaningful development.
