Reports from ADSACA (Adamawa State Agency for the Control of AIDS🎗) indicate that:

-Over 40,000 people are currently living with HIV in Adamawa State.

-Michika and Mubi are the areas with the highest number of infections.

-Between 2022 and 2025, there has been an increase of about 9,000 new cases.

Be cautious⚠️, protect yourselves and your health. The disease is spreading rapidly, and prevention is the best cure.

DISBURSEMENT OF YEIDEP GRANT

Dear YEIDEP (Batch A, B, C) Beneficiaries

The YEIDEP grant disbursement for Batch A will officially commence on 20th of October, while disbursement for Batch B and C will commence on 25th and 30th respectively.

Be informed that each batch holds a total of 2 million (2,000,000) applicants, with a grand total of 6 million (6,000,000) applicants from all batches.

Approved beneficiaries will receive between N100,000 and N500,000, depending on project type and scale.

Public Notice: Allegations of Misconduct Against Soldier in Michika🙌

A post by Abbo Ishaku has raised serious concerns about the conduct of a soldier identified as Lt. Col Nwakama, serving in Michika Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

According to Sen Abbo Ishaku, the officer has been accused of using his position to intimidate civilians, extort money, and abandon his official duty post in Michika for questionable activities in Mubi.

Reports allege that he harassed and brutalized elderly women, used his uniform and weapon to extort and rob civilians, shut down filling stations in Mubi while allegedly selling fuel secretly at night in Michika, and arrested young men who refused to give him bribes, detaining them in Chibok.

The post further claims that the soldier boasted that “even the Chief of Defence Staff cannot call him to order,” suggesting he could act without consequences.

Abbo Ishaku described these actions as serious human-rights abuses, ranging from assault and extortion to robbery and attempted murder. He vowed to continue publishing evidence of the alleged misconduct and to involve bodies such as the National Human Rights Commission, Amnesty International, and other international organizations to ensure accountability.

While making the allegations, Abbo Ishaku emphasized that the fight is not against the Nigerian military as a whole. He praised the sacrifices of the many good officers who serve with honor but insisted that “bad eggs” within the system must be exposed and removed.

The post concluded by noting that actions have reportedly been initiated against the officer at the highest level. Evidence of the allegations is expected to be made public in the coming days.

When we see a well arranged market with nice environment from other southern states on media, we admire it and complain about how our own government is not making things right.

Now His Excellence Gov Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is doing his best for the people after several notices and warnings you're busy condemning his work. Others even politicizing it.

Yes it’s really painful to have your business place demolished, but actions are taken after notice, the government is not doing this out of personal interest or any fight against the business owners. It is simply for the sake of everyone in Adamawa. This is our major market in Adamawa and must be in order to meet up with the level of development we have already.

POLICE ARREST A 24 YEARS OLD FINAL YEAR STUDENT OF MODIBBO ADAMA UNIVERSITY OVER ONLINE FRAUD IN YOLA.

The Adamawa State Police Command has taken into custody Paul John, a 24-year-old Modibbo Adama University student from Jiddel, Michika, for alleged online crimes including impersonation, sextortion, and harassment.

Investigations reveal that the suspect created fake social media accounts, using stolen images of women to blackmail and damage their reputations.

Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, assured that the matter will be thoroughly investigated and the suspect prosecuted, warning that anyone involved in cybercrime will face the law.
