PRESS RELEASE

The attention of the leadership of the All Progressives Congress Adamawa State Chapter has been drawn to a fake, malicious and ill fabricated story that is being circulated in the social media claiming that 8 members of the APC Executives had a meeting with the state Governor on the 8th of this month at the Government House.

The party leadership hereby unequivocally refute and deny every aspect of the rumour which is purposely planted by mischief makers to cause disaffection and dent the image of the Party Executives.

It's worth mentioning that before the rumour surfaced, the state chairman, state Secretary, state Organizing Secretary, State Youth leader, State women leader, state Publicity Secretary and a host of other members of the state Executive of the Party were already in Abuja making contacts to further promote unity in the party.

We therefore challenge the mischief makers and enemies of the party and it's leadership to be bold enough and mention the names of the 8 members of the Executive that are accused of holding the said meeting with concrete and convincing evidence.

Finally, we urge all Party members and supporters to disregard the malicious story, remain calm and law abiding, while we continue to build bridges aimed at promoting unity in our dear Party.
