Prepositions are most commonly followed by a noun, phrase or pronoun. Prepositions relate words or elements in a sentence.
There are over 200 prepositions in English, the most common single prepositions are:

2. 60 seconds = 1 minute
Sakan sittin yake minti ɗaya.

3. 60 minutes = 1 hour
Mintuna sittin suke awa ɗaya.

4. 24 hours = 1 day
Awanni ashirin da huɗu suke kwana ɗaya.

5. 7 days = 1 week - Kwana bakwai, sati ɗaya.

6. 28, 29, 30 or 31 days = 1 month - 28, 29, 30 ko 31, wata ɗaya.

7. 365 or 366 days = 1 year, kwana 365 ko 366, shekara ɗaya.

8. 12 months = 1 year - Wata sha biyu, shekara ɗaya.

9. 10 years = 1 decade - Deked ɗaya, shekara goma.

10. 100 years = 1 century - ƙarni ɗaya, shekara ɗari.
