Abubuwan da suke kawo dattin hakori har ya canja kala suna da yawa, amma ga manyan dalilan da aka fi sani a shekarar 2025:

Rashin Tsaftar Baki: Rashin wanke baki akai-akai yana sa datti (plaque) ya taru, wanda idan ya dade yake komawa tauri (tartar) ya canja kalar hakori.

Abinci da Abin Sha: Yawan shan abubuwa masu launi kamar kofi (coffee), shayi (tea), ko lemon kwalba masu zaki yana bata kalar hakori.

Shan Taba da Goro: Hayakin taba da jan goro suna daya daga cikin manyan abubuwan da suke sa hakori ya yi baki ko ya zama rawaya (yellow).

Magunguna: Wasu magungunan (kamar wasu nau'ikan antibiotics) na iya canja kalar hakori musamman ga yara ko idan ana yawan amfani da su.

Tsufa: Yayin da mutum yake tsufa, farin saman hakorin (enamel) yana raguwa, wanda hakan yake bayyana kalar ciki (dentin) wanda yake da dan kalar rawaya.

Wanke Baki: A tabbata ana wanke baki a kalla sau biyu a rana.

Amfani da Itace ko Buroshi: Amfani da asuwaki ko buroshi da man goge baki yana taimakawa wajen cire datti.

Hanyoyin Gida: Wasu na amfani da garin furen tumfafiya ko 'ya'yan tsamiya (tamarind) wajen goge dattin hakori domin ya dawo fari.

Ziyartar Likita: Idan dattin ya ki fita, yana da kyau a ga likitan hakori domin yin sikelin (scaling) ko gogewa ta musamman.
