The Drum Still Beats👌

The night is heavy with murmurs of the lost,
Echoes of a nation weighed by her own cost.
From the streets of Lagos to the plains of Kano,
The air hums with questions — where do we go?

We are sons of soil and daughters of dawn,
Yet our fields are bare, our harvests withdrawn.
The drums that once thundered of freedom and pride,
Now whisper of hunger — and dreams denied.

But listen — the drum still beats beneath the pain,
A rhythm of courage that storms can’t drain.
In the heart of chaos, a spark remains true,
The spirit of Nigeria — reborn, renewed.

We are the bridge between old and new,
The fire of Africa, bold and blue.
Though our skies darken with clouds of despair,
We rise — because hope still lives here.

We Have Been Quiet in Search of the Nigerian’s Flag

We have been quiet…
Silent, while the green and white waits for us.
Nigeria is good — her land fertile,
Her children brilliant,
Her heart still beating with promise.

But what of her leaders?
What of her followers?
Too many chase power, too few serve truth.
Too many watch, too few act.

Yet hope does not die.
It rises with the sun,
It whispers in our prayers,
It lives in every dream of a better tomorrow.

We have been quiet — but not forever.
For the flag still belongs to us.
And the future…
Is still waiting in our hands.

A Memorable Experience with Power Tech Nig. Solar House

Today, I had the privilege of leading some of my course mates from the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, Bayero University Kano to Power Tech Nig. Solar House as part of our Entrepreneurship survey assignment. 🌍🔋

At first, many of us thought it was just another school task that would waste our time. But as soon as we interacted with the company, everything changed! We had deep discussions on the challenges they faced during the petrol subsidy removal and, more importantly, the new opportunities it opened in the solar energy industry. 💡

The visit exposed us to real business strategies, practical solutions, and inspiring ideas that we would never have gained from theory alone. It showed us how entrepreneurship connects directly with engineering and innovation — a lesson every student should experience.

Now, we strongly believe that BUK should sustain and implement this type of practical assignment every session, because it is not only educative but also life-changing.

Honestly, we came back excited, delighted, and inspired! 🚀

If We Insist That Nigeria Must Be Good — Then, We Must Shed Blood, Not Tears!
But Alhamdulillah, Nigeria is always getting better.

Let’s pause for a moment and reflect:
The greatness of any nation comes not by mere wishes, or tears shed in silence... but through sacrifice, commitment, and a burning desire to act.

The "blood" we must shed isn't about violence — it is symbolic of:
🔹 Hard work till we sweat blood,
🔹 Fighting against corruption and injustice,
🔹 Sacrificing comfort for a better future,
🔹 Bleeding out our pride and ego to unite as one people,
🔹 Dedicating our time, talents, and resources for national progress.

Nigeria 🇳🇬 doesn’t need more tears. Nigeria needs more doers!

And still, Alhamdulillah, despite all odds, Nigeria is getting better.
Slowly but surely.
One idea at a time.
One sacrifice at a time.
One change-maker at a time.

Let us be among those who choose to build, not just complain.
Let us be the generation that says: Enough of bleeding in silence; now we bleed with purpose.

Let’s make Nigeria the country we all dream of — not just for us, but for generations to come.

I hold not a sword,
Nor do I shout to silence —
But in my hand lies a force,
More powerful than violence.

A pen — so small, so still,
Yet mighty in its motion,
Dipping in ink of truth and will,
Stirring hearts with deep emotion.

I’ve learned that words can build,
Just as they can destroy,
But I choose to write with purpose,
To plant hope, to spark joy.

I do not write to wound,
Or draw lines in the sand.
I write to heal, to unite,
To help the world understand.

For every stroke I take in ink,
I’m learning self-restraint —
To speak with fire and wisdom both,
Yet never leave a taint.

My pen is not for ego,
Nor to echo empty noise.
It is my sword of change,
My voice among the void.

So here I stand — still learning,
Still growing, day by day.
But I vow to use this gift of mine,
In a kind and honest way.

I’ll write for truth and justice,
For the ones with silenced cries.
I’ll script the dreams of Africa,
And let our spirits rise.

I showed up with just this pen,

Some Lessons Can’t Be Taught… Only Lived.

There are lessons that books can’t teach.
There are truths you only discover when life throws you into the fire — not to burn you, but to forge you.

I’ve come to realize:
Growth is rarely comfortable.
Pain is often the best professor.
Failure isn’t the opposite of success — it’s part of it.

I’ve lost opportunities I prayed for… only to later realize Allah was saving me for something greater.
I’ve been overlooked, doubted, and even ridiculed. But with every setback, I found a deeper strength within me — a reason to rise, to improve, to keep moving.

Today, I don’t just speak from knowledge — I speak from experience.
From the scars that became signs of survival.
From the tears that watered my vision.
From the rejections that redirected me to my true path.

So here’s the truth:
If life is testing you right now, know that you’re not being punished — you’re being prepared.
Your story is still unfolding. Don’t quit in the dark… the light is near.

Keep building. Keep believing.
And one day, the same people who doubted you will say: How did you do it?
