Estoy empezando a recorrer un camino incierto, sin saber adónde me llevará ni qué resultados obtendrá. Lo que sí sé es que la incertidumbre no significa cerrarse por miedo a lo desconocido. Más bien, significa no permitir que el potencial que tengo por delante se vuelva intimidante por ser inalcanzable desde la distancia. Espero que mis huellas en este nuevo camino que estoy emprendiendo sirvan de mapa para futuros participantes. Un mapa que los lleve a perseguir sus sueños sin temer a lo desconocido.
Una de las muchas cosas por las que estoy agradecida es no empezar sola. El equipo de MUPRI, la señorita Yessenia y la señorita Ishanni, han sido un equipo increíble. Su aliento y sabiduría siempre me impulsan a seguir creyendo en mí misma, incluso cuando el camino hacia el éxito pueda parecer aterrador. Son como mi GPS, jajaja. De corazón, GRACIAS por confiar en mí y otorgarme este título 🫂❤️
Como mencioné en mi discurso de ayer, representar a mi patria en el escenario universal es más que un título. Representa las esperanzas y los sueños, la esencia de mi pueblo puertorriqueño. Representa las raíces de mis ancestros y cargar en mi luz el encanto de la isla. Desde hoy, espero que todos puedan ser parte de lo que está por venir en esta nueva etapa. ¡Su apoyo es muy importante!
Gracias a todos y a la organización MUI por la oportunidad. ¡Nos vemos en la tierra de las sonrisas!

I am starting to walk on a path that is uncertain, not knowing where it is going to lead me nor what outcomes are going to come from it. What I do know is that uncertainty doesn't mean shutting down in fear of the unknown. Rather, it means not allowing the potential ahead to become intimidating because it can't be reachable from a distance. I do hope that my foot prints on this new path I am embarking on can serve as a map for future participants. A map that leads them to follow their dreams without fearing the unknown.
One of many things I am grateful for is that I am not starting alone. The MUPRI team, miss Yesenia and miss Ishanni, have been an amazing team to work with. Their encouragement and wisdom always pushes me to continue to believe in myself, even when the road to a head may seem frightening. They are like my GPS hahaha. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for trusting and assigning me with this title 🫂❤️
As mention during my speech yesterday, representing my homeland on the universal stage is more than a title. It is actually representing the hopes and dreams, the essence of my Puerto Rican people. It's representing the roots of my ancestors and carrying within my light the enchantment of the island. From today on, I hope you can all be part of what is to come within this new chapter. Your support means a lot!
