x .work was a nice collab with this amazing collective. I think the surround 6.2 sound sat nicely within the space. Keeping it crispy cool 🔊 on a warm lazy Sunday.

Finally managed to redo my acoustic panels in my sound studio. Due to some fibers in the recycIed denim material (no rockwool!), I started to have some serious lung issues. The cotton outer layer wasn’t enough.
I now added an inner layer of thin plastic to keep the fibers from getting into the air. Then I covered the plastic with a layer of carded wool to still absorb the higher frequencies.

Now back and ready again for some sound projects!!

The concept was to create a sound bath/aquarium 🪸🐠🔊 where visitors could eat very tasty sea inspired food plus enjoy a great live set by

Last Sunday was the first Many Voices curator event was a great experience.

I received a lot of positive feedback from visitors and artists. They were already asking when the next Many Voices event will take place.
This is very nice to hear and gives me even more motivation to continue the sound system and future events….to be continued…..🔊

I wanted the first Many Voices curated event to be special with a 6.2 surround sound system. Also very happy with the nice and unique location

It will be a seated gathering where visitors can sit on the ground. Many Voices will provided as many pillows I can get my hands on.

There is space for 30/40 people max.

With his unreleased album “Distant memories carry what remains”, Takimi deconstructs club music, reshaping it into atmospheric ambient textures. He recontextualizes 808 pulses and chest-rattling sub-bass beneath stretched-out granular synth pads, evocative samples, and field recordings. Layered with referential vocals, he reminisces with nostalgia over transcendental club and rave experiences.

Farzané (📸 3)

Farzané (Farzaneh Nouri) is a sound artist, composer and researcher based in the Netherlands. Her work delves into speculative approaches to sound, science and technology, encompassing various diciplines such as electroacoustic music composition, computer science and linguistics. Farzané composes for interactive installations, films, XR and multi-sensory experiences, and performs live with a focus on free improvisation. Her ongoing practice-based research investigates machine learning methods in the framework of free improvisation.

Jonathan Castro Alejos (📸2)

Radiance Loops is a sonic archive that explores the echoes of abandoned and post-industrial landscapes. Using location-based field recordings as a foundation, this collection of loops recontextualizes the raw textures of forgotten spaces, transforming rusted echoes, crumbling structures, and environmental debris into immersive soundscapes.

Lorenzo Mirra (I // O) has shaped his present sonic form as a blend of trascnedental pad, vigorous distortions and dreamy mesmerising atmospheres.
His latest project “Pangea” is a series of live performances where samples and field recordings were collected while exploring nature and remote locations. These recordings are entangled with dense electronic scapes, connecting places and materializing memories.
