A little Gaios photo dump because this day turned into more of an adventure than we expected 🤍

We started the day slowly, wandering through the cutest little streets, stopping for drinks and soaking up how pretty Gaios is. One of our fav little moments was seeing a group of cats patiently waiting outside a fishmonger 🥰 honestly the sweetest thing🐱🤍

We rented a quad for the day (which sounded like a great idea at the time 😂), had lunch on the boat and then set off to explore.

We made it to Tripitos Arch, the famous natural stone arch and it was so worth it. The only slight issue… the quad had other plans and decided it didn’t want to start again 😅

Thankfully, the company we rented it from was amazing and swapped it for a car, so the adventure could continue. We headed to Erimitis Bay Beach, which was absolutely stunning and 💯 lived up to the recommendation.

Then, because apparently the day wasn’t chaotic enough, we drove over to Lakka and somehow ended up going down a one-way street 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 We quickly turned around and decided that was probably the universe telling us we’d had enough adventure for one day.

A day that started slow ended up being pretty crazy but Gaios is such a charming place to explore. Tripitos Arch and Erimitis Bay are definitely ones to add to your list 🤍

And to the lovely people who recommended the beach… thank you! ✨

The famous Blue Eye completely lived up to the hype. 🩵

You can’t swim in the Blue Eye itself but paddling further down the crystal-clear river was an experience! The water was absolutely freezing but in +35°C heat it was welcomed.

Another beautiful place in the Balkans!

We planned to do a sunrise on our trip… we just needed the right morning. 🌅⛵️

And this was definitely it. 🤍

Calm waters, a beautiful sunrise, jumping fish and a little moment of magic out on the Ionian Sea.

Worth the early alarm? Absolutely. 🇬🇷✨

Hakuna Matata 🌊⛵️

The day we stepped aboard our catamaran in Corfu… and into what would become our home for the next 6 unforgettable days. 🇬🇷

We were joined by our skipper Nils, our host Betty and three other couples we’d never met before. It was one of those travel moments where everyone begins as strangers, with no idea that a shared adventure can turn into lifelong memories.

Then Mother Nature stepped in. Storms further up the coast meant the harbour master wouldn’t let us set sail that evening. What felt like a setback quickly became one of the best parts of the trip.

Betty found us a table in Gouvia and what followed was everything we love about travel: incredible Greek food, local wine, endless laughter and stories shared around the table. By the end of the night, the strangers felt a little less like strangers.

Sometimes the best travel memories aren’t the ones you plan, they’re the ones that happen when plans change.

That unexpected evening became the perfect beginning to our Corfu sailing adventure and we went to sleep excited for the next morning when we’d finally set sail across the beautiful Greek Islands.

If you’ve ever dreamed of a catamaran holiday in Greece, Greek island hopping, a Mediterranean sailing trip or a family travel adventure filled with sunshine, crystal-clear water and unforgettable moments, this is your sign.

Fun times were definitely on the horizon. ☀️💙
