Reminder - every €1.20 provides you with 2 things:

-The proof that an existing meter of land is protected
-The commitment that a new meter will be protected

Let’s all get protecting for the sake of the earth! 🌱🪱🐘🌎

The October 2023 issue of Sanctuary Asia, India's leading wildlife and conservation magazine is out!

This awesome edition explores the different facets of Rewilding across the globe, and we are so proud to be featured alongside many of our nature partners as members of the movement.

Even more exciting is to see the impact and stories by our nature partners highlighted:

🤓Read all about the trans-frontier conservation areas in Africa and the impact made by

🤓The Power of Rewilding is in Both Principle and Practice by our very own Vance Martin, Board member Union of Nature Foundation.

🤓The Global Rewilding Alliance take about if Rewilding can Save the Paris Agreement

🤓Read about Animating the Carbon Cycle, restoration projects in Europe, Chilean Patagonia, successful (and not-so-successful) rewilding attempts across India, and so much more.

Nature partner update from the field 🌱🌱🌱THE POPULATION OF GIANT ANTEATERS GROWS AND CONSOLIDATES IN IBERÁ · After forty years of extinction, the giant anteater is returning to the province of Corrientes.

In 2007, the provincial government and Rewilding Argentina began the project to reintroduce this species in Iberá Park, collaborating with numerous organizations and researchers from Argentina and other countries. It became one of South America’s most successful species reintroduction projects.

The reintroduction of the giant anteater represents a victory for conservation and an opportunity for local families from Corrientes to develop ecotourism through wildlife observation.

The current generation of giant anteaters will continue to contribute to the recovery of the species in Iberá and proves that rewilding is essential to restoring our natural ecosystems.

In the next 30 years, we are on track to double the amount of building square meters across the planet.

While scientists stress that we need to protect 50% of the planet by 2050 to survive the interlinked crises – biodiversity loss and climate change.

This doesn't mean we need to set aside half of NY city for nature (although that could be nice), nature protection should focus on that provide habitat for all of Earth's .

Together with we call on individuals, companies, investors and governments to join the movement to protect half earth.

Let’s take action together. Every meter counts!

This is Mount Panié Wilderness Reserve in New Caledonia. Rainforest Trust’s project you can help support by protecting m² on EarthToday🌱

With 46 threatened species, Mount Panié is recognized as a priority Key Biodiversity Area in New Caledonia.

Glossy black Crow Honeyeaters flock in small populations around the mountain, while vibrant Red-crowned Parakeets and Horned Parakeets take refuge in the region’s forests🦜🦜

The mountains are also key to the health of New Caledonia’s world heritage reef. The rain captured in Mount Panié’s cloud forest flows into the downstream waters and reefs that surround the island🌧️

Hoja Nueva’s rewilding efforts focus on the rescue, rehabilitation and reintroduction of keystone species of wildlife in the Peruvian Amazon🐆

They specialize in carnivore rehabilitation because of their ecological importance, prevalence in wildlife trafficking and the lack of centers dedicated to their rehabilitation and reintroduction.
