This mashup started with the question: what if it reflects both rooms of the WorldPride party I’ve been working on?

The moment I dropped ’s vocals over ’s ‘The Ha Dub Rewerk’d ( Remix)’ I couldn’t unhear it.

I made this while creating the promo video for the WorldPride edition of my q***r pop party .ams, where pop takes over one room and ’s London ballroom collective takes over the other.

Getting the idea was easy. Making it sound like one record wasn’t. I rebuilt the arrangement until the vocals and the ballroom beat felt like they were always meant to be together.

This tiny detail on Confessions II reveals a much bigger story.

As a q***r pop DJ, I’ve been digging through every detail of the album since it dropped. One lyric change connects My Sins Are My Savior feat. to the queen of pop’s Music era, creating another full-circle moment in her catalogue.

We’re collaborating with ballroom collective Lets Have A Kiki | from London, they’ll host the second room. Since 2023 it’s been my dream to have both rooms of THE OTHER SIDE open during BOPS. It’s now finally becoming a reality.

It’s one of the most emotional moments from Confessions II, her duet ‘The Test’ with daughter . As a q***r pop DJ, I’ve been obsessed with the album since it dropped. The second I heard the reference, I had to pause and rewind.
