The salon may look modern now, but it has a lot of history hidden below the surface.👇

Our building was built in 1892. It’s had multiple owners, and it looks as if there was a barbershop at some point (see the second picture). More notably, our building used to be Frank Govers’ studio! You can see him hard at work in the 3rd picture of the slide.

The historic pictures were all sourced from the city’s archive. Pretty cool right?✨
