Last Saturday I gave a lesson Concept & Storytelling at the preparatory course for artEZ in Zwolle. This was one of the pictures I was planning to show. I made this many many years ago at an ad agency. Have absolutely no idea which agency it was. I still like it. Lately I like again my vectorial drawings. This one is vectorial + pencil.

On my way to Zwolle to teach Concept & Storytelling at the preparatory course or for the art academie ('vooropleding').

This is one of the projects I was planning to show. It's self-initiated campaign featuring a 'blusolifant' or fire-fighter elephant. At the time, one elementary school in the Netherlands was intentionally put on fire.

This was an enormous shock for children and adults alike. The 'blusolifant' could be used by young children and their teachers to draw and talk about the incident.

Super leuke stage aangeboden! We gaan werken voor het Wereldmuseum, voorheen Tropenmuseum. We maken de animaties, illustraties, character design, interactives, logo en noem maar op 🙂 voor een tentoonstelling over klimaatverandering voor kinderen van 6 tot 15.
Het is een ambitieus project waar veel andere creatievelingen zijn betrokken: tentoonstellingsontwerpers, audiodesigners, lichtmensen, tentoonstellingsbouwers, interaction designers, kunstenaars, etc. De tentoonstelling blijft 5,5 jaar en de opening is 12 december 2024.
Een uitgelezen kans om veel te leren over het maken van werk voor musea en voor kinderen. En ook een bijzonder geschikt project voor een stagiair. We gaan werken met After Effects, Adobe Animate, TVpaint, photoshop en natuurlijk ook op papier.
Startdatum: ±26 augustus. Einddatum in overleg.

Unieke werkplek te huur in creatieve studio hartje centrum Amsterdam

In een steegje tussen de Nes en de Oudezijds ligt op de derde etage onze ruime (140m2), hoge en verrassend lichte studio. Wij werken hier met 6 zelfstandige ontwerpers en creatieven: vormgeving, tentoonstelling, ruimtelijk, illustratie, animatie, web. En zijn op zoek naar een 7e collega. We zijn professionals in onze disciplines met erkende klanten. We vinden het leuk om te sparren en ervaringen te delen en werken waar mogelijk samen.

De werkplekken zijn ruim opgezet en we hebben daglicht aan beide lange zijden van de open ruimte. Er is een 10 persoons vergadertafel in de keuken. En een leuk daktuintje. Je beschikt over een vast bureau en een stellingkast. De huur is 400,- pm. Met je eigen sleutel is de toegang 24/7.
