Dutch producer Paul Mayson is at the forefront of genre-bending dance music, fusing house sounds and culture with eclectic elements and collaborations from all over the world. After touring internationally as a DJ early on, Paul got his start producing and remixing songs for pop and hip hop stars such as Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Far East Movement, Yelawolf and Mariah Carey. ic and got picked up by MTV and XITE as their breakthrough ‘Push’ and ‘Kickstart’ artist, he is now making waves with his authentic take on dance music. He did the official remix for ‘Deep Down’, the summer hit by Alok, Ella Eyre and Kenny Dope, after which he released ‘Have It All’, his own official rework of Chicago’s iconic song ‘Street Player’. He also gained support from fellow DJs such as Axwell & Ingrosso, David Guetta, Oliver Heldens, Sam Feldt, Don Diablo and Riton. His new single ‘Missing You’, featuring this year’s multi-platinum breakthrough pop sensation Isabel Usher leads up to the release of the producer’s highly anticipated debut album ‘One Life’, which is accompanied by a digital art piece. ‘’As a producer it’s my goal to create dance music that goes beyond trends, fuses sounds of the genres that I love, and makes you feel free. There are no rules in life, there are no rules in music.’’

What are you optimising for in 2025?

Going through a really busy few months, this question struck me recently.

For me, it’s:

1. Freedom: To not be limited in what I create (and from where).
2. Growth: To put last year's learnings into practice, get better and achieve 3 new goals.
3. Adventure: To be able to see and experience more of the world.
4. Connection: To connect deeply with my friends and family.

This actually helped me a lot in my decision making, defining what 'success' is and knowing what to focus on. Life is really short, focus on your dreams and on the positive! Hope everyone's having a great 2025
