Today I visited the Doornenburg Castle Fair, such a beautiful location, I really enjoyed walking around there.

I wanted to share a few photos to give you a little glimpse of the atmosphere.

And of course I couldn’t resist bringing a few treasures home… some lovely pieces of lace, a couple of vintage postcards, and even antique curtain rail clips.

Days like this always give me so much inspiration 🤍

Back from a short but inspiring trip to France 🇫🇷✨

After sharing a glimpse of the brocante market in Tours earlier, I wanted to show you one of my favorite finds… these beautiful vintage “Bonne Année” postcards 💙

I discovered them in a little antique shop in Tours, tucked away among books and paper treasures. I only had a short moment to browse, but when I saw these soft blue and pink toned portraits, I couldn’t resist taking a small stack with me.

These cards date back to the early 1900s, when photographs were often hand-tinted or printed using special techniques like collotype or photochrom. Since true color photography didn’t exist yet, soft hues like blue and rose were added to create a dreamy, romantic feel, and I think that charm is still so visible today ✨

What I love most is how delicate and timeless they feel… and yes, they will definitely find their way into a future digital kit when I’m back at my desk again 💻💛

Brocante hunting in France this weekend 🇫🇷✨

Tomorrow I’m heading to Tours to explore antique stalls, vintage markets, and hopefully some hidden paper treasures and old postcards for my creative work.

I love wandering through these French markets, you never know what little piece of history you’ll find 💛

And even more treasures from the flea market… 🤍
I also found the most beautiful vintage photo cards and postcards, featuring sweet baby portraits in soft neutral tones. There’s something so touching about these images… so pure and timeless.
I have just about a week to create a Mother’s Day kit before my holiday, and I’m still choosing between different styles… but these pieces would make such a lovely, meaningful addition.
It’s always a little challenge to decide which direction to take, but also the most inspiring part :-)

And there was more lace… 🌸
Among my flea market finds were these gorgeous pieces of vintage lace and ribbon in the softest dusty rose tones. I’m honestly so happy with these treasures, they match my Heirloom Swan kit so beautifully.
There’s something so special about combining real vintage materials with my designs… it brings everything together in such a timeless, romantic way.
I can’t wait to use these in my journals and tags when I find a little creative time 💕

A few antique lace treasures I couldn’t resist bringing home… 🤍

I found these beautiful pieces at a local flea market, and I instantly fell in love with the neutral tones and delicate textures. Each piece feels so full of character and history.
The handmade rounds with their blanket stitch edges are especially charming… I think they would be perfect for tags, layering, or adding a subtle vintage touch to journal pages.
Working with authentic vintage materials like these always feels so inspiring!
