At Erren Recondition, we specialize in restoring shoes, clothing, and accessories to their expected high standards and quality. The product may have mold but it technically is fine. So to get it back into its 'old' state we remove the mold and make the product look brand new again.

🌍♻️ Circular inspiration in motion! ♻️🌍

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Decathlon Nederlandd circularity team to our facility for an inspiring behind-the-scenes tour at Erren Recondition. 😮

Funny enough, during the visit, Laurens Nolet mentioned they were heading straight to a team BBQ afterwards to enjoy the sunny weather.🔥🍖 Well… what better timing for an apron, right? 😄

As a thank you, we handed out handcrafted aprons made from upcycled leftover leather.👨‍🍳 Proudly made by our heroes at Erren Recondition. 🦸 A small gift with a big circular message. Keeps the clothes clean and if not, you know who to call to recondition them! 😉

Thanks again to the whole team for the great energy.

🌍 ✨ A Circular Win-Win! ✨ 🌍

At Erren Recondition, we believe in the power of reuse and sustainability. Recently, we had the opportunity to contribute to an amazing project by the HAN Centrum Meervoudige Waardecreatie circular economy students from HAN University of Applied Sciences, during the Week of Circular Economy at Utrecht Central Station. 🎓

The students organized a quiz to promote circular economy, and we were excited to help by donating our circular aprons. These aprons are made from leftover leather and produced through social labor. A perfect example of how fashion can be reused and waste can be reduced! 🙌💚

We are incredibly proud that the aprons were so well received. Not only did they help raise awareness about the circular economy, but all the aprons were quickly won by enthusiastic passersby who took part in the quiz. 😁

This is exactly what Erren Recondition stands for: extending the lifespan of products and contributing to a circular world where nothing is wasted. By restoring products and using reusable materials, we try to ensure that fashion doesn’t become waste but rather stays a valuable resource. 🌍🔄

A second life for running shoes: from the Valley running day to Namibia 🌍👟

We are incredibly proud to have been a part of the Valley Running Team running day 2024, powered by Runner's World Nederland, and to contribute to such an impactful cause. 🙌

💯 Hundreds of running shoes were collected for children in Namibia, and we had the honor of restoring and giving them a second life. These shoes were then distributed to the C.J. Brandt High School, and the remaining pairs were donated to the local Operi & Sydney Child Foundation. 👟

At Erren Recondition, we specialize in extending the lifecycle of products, giving them a second chance and reducing waste♻️. Through our restoration process, we bring used items back to life, whether it's shoes, clothing, or other products. 👨‍🔬 Our mission is to help reduce the environmental footprint by giving products a second life and ensuring they reach new users in perfect condition. 🌍

This initiative is especially meaningful as we’ve seen firsthand how many children in Namibia don’t have access to proper footwear, with some even training barefoot. Thanks to the donations from all participants of the Valley running day, we were able to bring full suitcases of shoes to Namibia and make a real difference in the lives of these young athletes. 🛄

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, and to our partners at Runner's World Nederland, Valley Running Team and Operi & Sydney Child Foundation for making this possible. Together, we are helping to create brighter futures through sport and sustainability. 💚💙

Building a Cleaner Tomorrow Through Education and Erren Recondition 🌍✨

At Erren Recondition, we believe that the link between education and the professional field is crucial, because everything we do today is for our future, and the future belongs to the next generation. 🤝 That's why we recently collaborated with the Minor Operational Branding program at HAN University of Applied Sciences.

In this partnership, students worked with us to further develop and refine how we express our brand. With our new visual identity and concepts, we focused on presenting our mission: "Creating a cleaner world where nothing goes to waste." ♻️

Together, we explored how to communicate our message effectively and align it with our values and goals. 🎯

The students designed multiple brand concepts and brought them to life in an inspiring brand room. This hands-on experience was both fun and incredibly valuable for our business. 😁

It all started with an inspiring presentation by our managing director, Peter Erren, and ended with creative, thoughtful presentations by the students.

We’re proud of this collaboration and very thankful to the HAN University team, especially Lydia de Waal, Vincent van Liempd MA, Monique Burggraaf, Michel, and the talented students, for making this journey possible. Together, we are shaping a better tomorrow by preventing waste and giving products both a first and second life in their best condition. 🌟

Creating a cleaner world where nothing goes to waste.

The solutions we offer are effective for an impressive 95% of all products. The remaining 5% that cannot be salvaged is sent to a nearby waste-to-energy facility. The heat generated from this process is utilized for district heating in surrounding villages, ensuring that even the last 5% is put to good use. 🙌

In this way, we effectively prevent waste from ending up in landfills and contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable world. 🌍

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending hashtag in the beautiful city of Barcelona with our team. What an inspiring event to be part of! 🌍👟

Not only were we invited to speak, but our colleague joined us to represent Erren Recondition at our stand 🫡 . He engaged with attendees, sharing our story, our mission, and how we contribute to sustainable solutions in the footwear 👟 and textile industries. It was great to connect with so many visitors and discuss circular business models and recommerce. 😁

Our colleague Theo Nooteboom also participated as a panelist during an insightful session alongside Sophie van Kol (Fashion for Good), Lorenzo van Galen (WEAR), and moderator Pim Roggeveen (WEAR). Together, they explored the future of recommerce in the sector. 🤩

The session had an engaging discussions highlighting the strong interest in sustainability and innovation. The energy and ideas shared during the session were motivating and reaffirmed our mission to drive sustainable solutions forward. 🙌

Beyond the impactful conversations and innovative ideas, the venue itself was fantastic. A big thank you to Footwearology and Nicoline van Enter for the invitation and for organizing this event. 👏
