Angelique did not manage to get special eclipse glasses (all sold out!), but did make two photos of the phenomenon. Photographer Stan Helwes did manage, and shared some beautiful images (first two) through his glasses. ☀️☀️

Did you know that elephants also sleep lying down? It is though not common to see them doing this. So we were lucky. And this is a pregnant female, just waking up around kings Pool Botswana .

Today we can probably see the eclipse, also in the Netherlands. We were already fortunate to experience a full eclipse in 2013, at the Savannah of Murchison Falls, Uganda. This was not only a very special natural phenomenon, but because we experienced it in the middle of the bush were the birds and the grass hoppers got quiet, made is even more special. Have fun tonight and take care of your eyes!!
