𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒉 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 👇𝘼 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩-𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘿𝘼𝙁 𝙁𝙏𝙏 𝟯𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝘼𝙏𝙞 𝙞𝙣 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙕𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙 (ca. 1990)
In Northern and Western Europe, the DAF 95 had already largely replaced the 2800, 3300, and 3600 by the late 1980s. The 3200/2900 became available as an alternative with the old and familiar F241 cab to fill the gap between the DAF 2700 (F220 cab) and the DAF 95, which was expensive for its time.
The cab received a subtle update: the interior adopted the color scheme of the DAF 95, and the grille was fitted with DAF's characteristic new look featuring the three stripes and the new DAF logo.
For distant export markets, such as Turkey, Australia, etc., the 3300 and 3600 remained available until approximately 1993. These versions also received the modern DAF grille, combined with the recognizable gray-blue color scheme in the cab. The DAFs destined for Down Under were shipped from Eindhoven (NL) as CKD packages ('Completely Knocked Down'). Upon arrival, the trucks were built up/assembled.
