On the 14th of every month, we share one of Johan Cruyff’s famously brilliant and simple quotes. 💬⚽
The Stars of Africa Talent Development Program is strongly influenced by the philosophies and ideas of world-class coaches and football thinkers such as Johan Cruyff — where technique, vision, creativity and football intelligence matter just as much as physical ability and statistics.
Today’s quote captures that philosophy perfectly:
“I find it terrible when talents are rejected based on computer stats. My qualities, technique and vision, are not detectable by a computer.”Johan Cruyff
At Stars of Africa, we believe talent cannot be reduced to data alone. A young player must be seen, understood and given the opportunity to develop.
Because the qualities that can make a player special are not always the qualities a computer can measure. 🌍⭐⚽
Develop the player. See the potential. Create the opportunity.
