Cutting new mute holders for the Bassmute, including the modified type for basses with small string spacings.
The radius transition toward the thinner top parts has been angled towards the ends to prevent touching the string when tilting across the axle. (Yellow lines)

Bassmute modification of the mute holders to increase the amount of movement between the strings on basses with string spacings smaller than 17 mm (0.67 ")
There is increase of 3mm. The adjustment screws are moved to the front or rear of the mute holders.
Will become available only for small spacings at a small additional cost because of the extra labour

Repair of crack in Les Paul neck.
The nech was cracked over a distance from the nut to the area around the 2nd fret. At the nut with a depth to the truss rod to zero over its length. I used slightly thinned urethan glue with at least 15 minutes pot life.
By gently moving the headstock to slightly open and close the crack, this way the glue soaks fully in the complete crack.
After pressing out the superfluous glue and wiping it of, the crack area was covered with a piece of silicon coated paper plus a flexible piece of plastic sheet to press fully against the neck surface.
Then rubber bands were wrapped very tighly around the neck to press the cracked parts together as tightly as possible and keeping the surface along the crack level on both sides of the crack.
Apart from some tiny missing pieces of lacquer along the edge of the crack and some pressed out glue to be treated later, the crack came out nearly invisible

Telecaster neck pickup repair.
The start wire turned out to be broken because it sat partially on the side of the bottom plate of the bobbin where also the cover stuck. Movement of the cover while mounting the pickup on his Telecaster caused the wire to break.
The short wire has carefully been extended, connected back to the soldering lug and covered with wax. :)
