Isr*eli Captain David Hazut, platoon commander in the 12th Battalion of the Golani Brigade, was k*lled in southern Lebanon, specifically in the town of Deir Siryan, during an armed battle with resistance forces.

On Sunday 28th June 2026, the Isr*eli military announced that 21-year-old David Hazut was k*lled and an additional soldier was wounded during a military operation as invading Isr*eli troops continue to push into Lebanon from the south of the country.

The armed battle began roughly around 2:00 AM after the Golani Brigade intended to investigate a particular area of interest, according to Isr*el’s Channel 15.

At least 4,257 people were k*lled and 12,196 wounded in Lebanon since February 2026, according to the Lebanese health ministry.
