Multidisciplinary collective.

Submid is a multidisciplinary collective based in the city of Rotterdam, consisting of friends with compatible perspectives on music and art aspiring to engage and activate their equals. Submid was originally conceived in early 2017 and their first series of events started out in BAR Rotterdam in 2018, a now defunct nightclub in Rotterdam’s central district. Artists such as Cecilio & Laurine, Cedr

ic Dekowski & Felix Reifenberg, Francesco Del Garda, The Ghost, Hamish & Toby, John Dimas and Julian Perez performed at their quarterly get-togethers. With close ties to Rotterdam online radio station Operator, Submid has the chance to showcase alternative sounds of their guests and also present young and promising talent.

We’ve had many defining nights between these four walls and we kept on returning over the years. Only 3 weeks out now from our most anticipated Kingsnight ever, together with our partners in crime.

Big ups everyone who came out to last Friday for our return! Glad this place is back and better than ever before. Can’t wait for another one here.

It’s almost April already which means our next shindig is in our sights: Kingsnight with in 160K 👑. A grand clash of two 010 collectives over three rooms to celebrate the king and life itself. Hopefully see y’all there again!

Ladies and gents, it’s time to power through those last business hours of the week and warm up the hip flexors for tonight. Some final tings to keep in mind:

- First come first serve, if the club is full you’ll have to wait until there is room again.
- Doors open at 21:00 and we go on until 3:00
- Small entrance fee of €8. No cash, PIN only!
- Smoking is allowed outside near the entrance.
- Stay safe and healthy. We don’t tolerate any offensive behavior or harassment towards other visitors, artists or staff. You will be removed!

The homie finds his way back to our booth! This time we take him inside, following his Submid debut at Keilecafe last summer. In recent months, Nanton has been working hard at his craft, deepening his knowledge and skills to become a more multi-faceted DJ and tastemaker. He recently joined the team at , where he sifts through beautiful music on a frequent basis. We’re eager to hear his recent finds 🔮.

In little over two weeks we return to and our The Hague buds Bassie & Bouk Liúw join our ranks for the first time – fireworks guaranteed.

Bas & Bouk bond over a shared passion for music. The friends and founders of .thehague play a wide variety of playful, warm and uplifting house sounds; connecting the dots between tech and deep. Most of their records originate from the great 90’s and early 00’s areas and touch numerous styles. Since they crossed paths at a festival some years ago, the two spent a lot of time digging for goods and playing around — while shaping a more signature sound together. In their sets you sense an ongoing groove over deep basslines, layered by soothing tones and quirky elements. All served with a fine synergy behind the decks.

A mad weekend behind us! Thanks for an absolute stellar set and being a gem of a person. Definitely not the last time we’ll see the likes of you. Shout out to and for taking good care of us in their amazing club and letting us play on that terrific soundsystem. One could only dream of seeing that more often.

Sick one also in for the homegame on Saturday. A club we partied in a lot as rave kids, so to take over the main room was special. Thanks Perron 😘

The real heroes these two days were our friends who turned up everywhere, travelled with us, and with whom we laughed and danced our asses off! Without you this wouldn’t be half as fun. ❤️

Sun’s out! This evening we finally return to and we’re bringing bags of summerproof tunes. Entrance is completely free and we run from 20:00 until 2:00. Come early and tan a little while you can!

After last year’s get-together at Keilecafe, we couldn’t resist returning to this iconic open-air spot with some close friends and familiar residents. Our partner in crime , under his alias DJ Ooze, is finally back behind the 1’s and 2’s! After having taken a short break, rumors go ‘round his record shelves are filling up again and the inspiration for the craft returned stronger than ever. We’re eager to hear the oddities he recovered in his absence.

This Saturday marks one of the last nights before closes until at least September. We’re happy to be a part of these final moments before the break and being able to extend until 4:00! If you’ve been before, you know the place will erupt. See you there 🖖🏼

After a very fun New Year’s Drinks in , we return with some familiar faces and an extended closing time for round two! Slovenian underground celebrity couple Nitka, who have been on a tear for a while now, are finally back with us. Same goes for our buddy monk.ts, who has joined many many shindigs in the past and always manages to show an exciting perspective of his collection. At last a rewoken resident DJ Ooze, in the past known under a variety of aliases, fills up his recordbag again and takes place behind the machinery. Exciting times, big hipmovers guaranteed.
