27, 28 and 29 July 2012

Come join us for our next event in the Walden Affairs program FOREVER SUMMER and spend the last weekend of July in a semi-bewildered yet cultural manner in Belgium.

The weekend of 13, 14 and 15 of July 2012, 5 teams built 5 boats in honor of Thor Heyerdahl. 4 of them were suitable for the race from De Besturing to Walden Affairs. The wind didn´t collaborate much it was human power and the flow of The Hague´s canals that brought us all to the finish. The designs of the rafts found the balance of the use of jerry cans, polystyrene and wood. When we set our boats on the water the clouds cleared up and under the sun we sailed off… Check out the visual report!
